Uboat said:Still fairly relaxed, but I have started to have a vision of Southall saying, 'Obviously we're as disappointed as the supporters that we weren't able to make any signings, but we did bring in Andre Green, so all in all it has been a good window for the club.'
Oh how we will laugh!1 -
Key word in the name of the tweeter... EX... as in former WHU employee.

Nothing really new but it’s a rumour.

QPR have just lost Nakhi Wells who has been recalled by Burnley.0

If we got Chirivella I would be buzzing. The lad is so composed on the ball and can pick a pass.4

In all honesty, the boy lad is 22 I believe, surely would be good for him to get some first team football. I accept that training each and every day with that group of players will probably be helpful to his development too.3 -

They will be rotating the first team in the Prem for sure, but even then he’s probably 4th choice for the position he plays.
come on Klopp, return the favour for Gomez4 -

Liverpool purloined Joe Gomez off Charlton for 3.5 million. Out of gratitude we should be first on the list for Chirivella to the end of the season. The lad will be in the shop window and then he can move to a club who pay the going rate.

I’ll only get pelters for being negative again, but Rhodes to Wigan and Hogan to Birmingham, why aren’t we in for this calibre of forward?!2 -

More on Pedro. Also mentions Parrott, Idah and Pogba.

On Chirivella, he was class in the first half of the Shrewsbury game, but he clearly tired in the second half, suggesting that he needs some proper game time to get his fitness up.0

*or until he ends up in a knee brace.10 -
Liverpool clearly don't give two hoots about the FA Cup, so if they won't loan him to us because he's got a replay against Shrewsbury, that's ridiculous.9

I hold out in hope that Bowyer ONLY signed his new deal as he knows what ESI have planned for the short, medium and long term of this club.....3

I said as the Window opened, and we replaced Leko with Green that we would learn as much about ESI's budget and Philosophy by who we don't sign. After 28 days, the silence is telling.
The grains of United Arab Emirates sand are slipping through the egg timer and I'm more concerned that we aren't paying the going rate to ensure Lyle Taylor stays at Charlton for two more seasons.
We have Lyle Taylor and Bonne as our strikers, so add young 18 year old Idah(loan) and with Davidson and even Hemed then we have enough up front.
Rhodes on 30k, is so removed from the "model" that it not worthy of consideration.
Ps. I don't know the going rate but Lyle's agent does and so will Lee Bowyer who is desperate to keep the Talismanic Taylor.0 -

Interesting to see how we compare with other Champ clubs in terms of number of signings.2

We've been told who we're modelling ourselves on (Burnley, Brighton, etc. Not Derby or Villa) but carry on...0 -
