Saw him as the Criminologist in the Rocky Horror back in the 90's and he was great. RIP.1

Back in the late 70's into the early 80's, I would spend Saturday mornings being coached at Finchley Cricket School. Nicholas Parsons used to have the net before me at 9am. He was enthusiastic but not much cop....and I used to think he was improperly dressed because he wore a white Fred Perry instead of a cricket shirt. Funny the things you remember....
That aside, he was an excellent broadcaster and a great servant to the Lords Taverners.1 -
RIP, when I hear people say their 'From Norwich' in my head I always think 'its the quiz of the week'.
He is the voice of Dr Johnsons Cat on the talking statue in Gough Square.

Saw him a few years ago now at a recording of Just A Minute, he would have been in his late eighties I think but so sharp and funny. RIP.0
