Can this finally shut up those Charlton fans who keep going on about a new poncy stadium.Raith_C_Chattonell said:From today's Mirror. Headline: Passion of Upton Park to a toxic, soulless bowl. The fans were sold a dream by the Brady bunch but now it's a NIGHTMARE.

Nothing compares with the away end at the old Brighton athletic track. 😩
remember old Wembley ? .. the terraces/seats behind the goals were a long way backcafc999 said:I see that the seating is going to be reconfigured for next season. Would be interesting to see what @PragueAddick mates think of this

Why do people have a thing about West Ham... I think there OK.... They did offer their ground to us for a few seasons.2

Nicked Billy Bonds and Defoe. No other reasons needed:- but if you do, their club being subsidised by taxpayers and not being content with that, they keep pushing with threats of litigation for more and more.Chippycafc said:Why do people have a thing about West Ham... At least Billy Bonds actually played for us, 95 times in fact, before being sold.Redrobo said:

Defoe really was nicked and the compensation awarded to us was ridiculous and did not penalise West Ham at all.5 -

toxic... and it's going to get worse before it gets better0

The thing that sums up Karen Brady for me was when she criticised female apprentice contestants for talking about using their sex to sell products in a task. What mock outrage from somebody who has built her career on the back of porn merchants. It is clear she is a vile hypocrite. She has shafted West Ham fans big time! There are more important things than money in the world - maybe she will realise that one day!8

I like the way that he uses a mythical cab driver who thinks everything's rosy to make his point. Now where have I heard that before?Ross said:11 -
I cried when Billy left. As a kid I couldn’t understand how another club could take your players away.superclive98 said:

Apparently West Ham have just had to turn down a major £50 million shirt sponsorship deal with a leading dog food manufacturer. Club sources say that having “Winalot” on their shirts would be taking the piss and likely to antagonise fans even further at this difficult time.24

All cab drivers are Spurs - FACT !6

Maybe they should accept the offer from Cheerios insteadSillybilly said:Apparently West Ham have just had to turn down a major £50 million shirt sponsorship deal with a leading dog food manufacturer. The only move I would ever want is the peninsula but again we are miles away from that and I would want it to replicate the valley. The valley extension is perfect from what I have seen and would be more than enough for our fan base. Peninsula is a pipe dream if we ever get to the point where we have 5x more fans than seatsjimmymelrose said:

On a side note I think Bowen is a top signing, West Ham have signed some right slop over the years but I don't believe he falls into that category, we will find out0 -
Agreed on Bowen. 23, English and one of the stand out players in the championship with a very good scoring record.Braziliance said:

This reminded me once again of the doubtless scurrilous tale involving a young Brady, Sullivan, and a snooker table.MuttleyCAFC said:The thing that sums up Karen Brady for me was when she criticised female apprentice contestants for talking about using their sex to sell products in a task. I have no desire to leave The Valley. Indeed I don't think we need to leave The Valleyjimmymelrose said:

But the problem here isn't West Ham leaving Upton Park, but rather that they left it to rent a bodged athletics stadium. If the porn kings had built something like the new WHL I doubt the fans would have been upset9 -

Away to Man city today, could be interesting!0

In amongst the entirely enjoyable description of their current self inflicted crappy season, against a backdrop of their supporters finally realising they've been sold a total dud by the owners, is mention that there are plans to "square off the stands" and bring them closer to the pitch this year. First I've heard of this.
As a leading "malcontent and keyboard warrior" @PragueAddick can you shed any light on who might be picking up the bill for this?

They will get relegated and Cullen will be a first team starter for them next year, win their POTY, the following season become their captain, and will become a story how he come threw the fantastic West Ham academy and not how we have developed him.0
-
Once Cullen is back they will play the West Ham way, whatever that is.0
-
Good result for them.4
