  • No Phil Silvers Show (Sgt Bilko)?
OFAH stopped being funny when either grandad died or they got girlfriends. Too many duff episodes.

So as well as Bilko, we have

    Seinfeld
    Larry Sanders
    Porridge
    Fawlty Towers

Forgot about Bilko - Phil Silvers had superb comic timing.

I have, and like 3 of them, but we’re getting to that point where there’s a need to be obscure in the choices.

The three I've heard of are absolute crackers, so on that basis I'll be checking out Parks and Recreation and Camping.

I think it's criminally underrated - the writing is superb and the characters are all well developed. It's a great observation of rural life for the young in modern Britain. Hard to choose a favourite character.
