  • You’re right, Clotet and Monk did have a big falling out.

I don’t like Monk anyway, but both seem to be wrong’uns.

The Cellino/Monk dream team, coming soon to The Valley  :D
  • How will this affect the Birmingham players, knowing their manager is off in 9 games time?

Hopefully badly when we play them at St Andrews!
Birmingham are probably saying the same thing about us and our star striker

They will probably lose 8 games and win the other one - I won’t state the obvious and say which game they will win.....
    West Brom?
  • Woodgate sacked at Boro, replaced by Neil (Colin) Warnock.

    FFS!!

    Oh bollocks
  • Bugger. Gibson is normally so loyal to his managers too...

Bizarre timing though, yes they were awful on Saturday, but if they did it a month ago, Colin would have time to organise them
  • Middlesbrough are safe then

  • Has Warnock ever been relegated?
  • damn, or as they ridiculously say in America, dang
  • That’s one less team out of the equation of relegation, they’re safe. No chance he’ll get relegated. Their problem is scoring goals, defensively they’re not too bad.

Let’s hope the bottom 3 stay the bottom 3 come the end of the season, I think they will.

Yes Sheffield utd from the PL
  • Footballs Red Adair comes in again .  There comes a time when he has to fail . Hopefully this is it .
  • Has Warnock ever been relegated?
Yes - Sheffield United 2007. Last minute penalty winner for Wigan at Sheff United. Wigan stayed up United went down and tried to get West Ham down as they has broken third party ownership rules.
  • The bonus is their next two games are Stoke | Hull they then dont play any other relegation rivals

This could actually help us in terms of the Hull game as you'd think there is no chance of them losing that one!!

Wasn't he also Notts County manager when they got relegated from the top flight in the last pre Premier season?

Their defence was shocking on Saturday, that might have been the tipping point for Gibson. The loss of Ayala might be key

  • With no fans in the ground all you'll hear is Warnock constantly on at the officials....

    Oldham and Bury

Following his successful period as manager of Plymouth, Warnock rounded out the 1990s with two relegations, first at Oldham Athletic in the 1996–97 season,[11] and then in 1998–99 at Bury.[12]

All I could find was this....he's moved around a bit in recent years!

  • Good appointment for them.

How I see it is, it will be difficult for Hull. I think they're doomed. As long as we match Barnsley and Luton, we'll be safe.

  • Very much in our own hands but that doesn't help!

Been dreading Hull sacking McCann and getting a bounce. Fingers crossed they stick with him - either that or they appoint Karel

The way the Hull press were talking after Saturday makes me think that the Allam's really dont care what happens
