Back to back 1-0 victorious pushing us up the table to safety.
I thought we were well organised and hard working, first to every ball, particularly in the first half. Hats off to the players, Bowyer and Jackson.
However, the Covered End were a bit flat and one dimensional.

Thought we played excellently today. Fully deserved the 3 points.2

And breathe.
At some point we might have to score from open play, but maybe not14 -
Bottom half of the table is looking very different now. Fingers crossed we still have our four point cushion at 5pm.

Fully deserved. Well done to the lads.0

We defended well.
QPR were there for the taking and I think we played it a bit safe, but hey, if it works2 -
We are still very much a work in progress, and there's plenty of time left in this season. But it's amazing how solid we look when we have a full fit team of players and options from the bench.
Those people who were calling for Bowyer to get sacked, after what's gone on behind the scenes and how he kept us semi competitive through the worst injury crisis this club has seen, should honestly hang your heads in shame.51 -
Was completely non-plused about today yet at the final whistle im punching the air and screaming the house down.
Superb stuff21 -
There's a longstanding debate in US sport, particularly Baseball and Basketball, about whether a player can be "clutch," or whether they're just plain good and thus good in difficult circumstances.
Darren Pratley answers that question. Because he is clutch. He is rubbish at football. But he has an incredible knack for coming up with massive goals and massive moments.22 -
Unbelievable Jeff.3

What's not to like. 3 points....3 points....3 points....oh and a clean sheet.
Bowyer is doing himself proud. Well done all the lads. Another team effort.4 -
Start of a dogged run.....tough week ahead for the team.
Could we catch Millwall?
A week from now we will know more.
A win at Cardiff would be immense.1 -
Be interested to hear the views of people who were there.

Obviously delighted with the win but.... when the hell did it change to 12.30 kick off ..spent hours organising streaming and valley pass and missed the whole blimin game !!!!!42

This enforced break has done us the world of good.
We was in freefall and heading for the drop.
But Bowyer has worked a miner miracle during the break to bring the lads back totally invigorated.
Bloody superb.

Superb, 2 consecutive wins, no goals conceded, works for me4
-
Adam Matthews was disgustingly good business.
Doughty and Aneke off the bench are such good weapons to have too. The COVID break might have saved us this season.63 -
Apart from their one chance right after the restart, QPR never looked like scoring. We gave them absolutely nothing! Cullen the maestro of the midfield as always, the passing of Albie Morgan is almost unfair, Pratley is sometimes a clumsy shithouse, but he's our clumsy shithouse who loves a goal every now and then. Big shoutout to Chuks, strong as an ox and bullied their defenders every time he got the ball. That display in the corner in the last minute was the best bit of time wasting since Watt v Forest.
Nothing better than a scrappy 1-0 win! The fight of this team is unquestionable. Very proud of them today!12 -
We're in the all-important top 17 and now (as you can see below) nowhere near the relegation zone

The key to survival is a solid defence and defensive midfield not prepared to give anything away. We now have our first team in those positions. We only have to do better than the teams below us and we have the defensive strength to do that.
Our weakness shown today again is the forwards. We will not be winning games 3-0 so it is going to be tight and tense until we are safe.3 - Sponsored links:

Really solid performance, bit nervy at times but all good in the end. Thought Phillips was brilliant again.2

What a difference two games make, onwards and upwards. Get in there.0

Dont agree with this at all, except for the knack thing. He's no Messi, but he works hard, puts himself about and doesnt shirk a challenge. Solid, reliable and calm under pressure. Always happy to see him in the team.

We did well against a side who were much better than Hull last week. While they had some skilful and tricky players, we wanted it more, and rode our luck a few times. Sam Field was a bit off the pace when he came on but Chuks did a great job after he was introduced, including a Watt-like hold up at the corner flag in the dying minutes. Probably should have taken one of the chances for a second goal and we are feeling the loss of Taylor no doubt, but another great game from Morgan and Cullen who was man of the match. 6 points from 6, you can’t really argue with that.

Over the moon with another three points. Great team performance, and a happy weekend ahead.
Many thanks Mr Bowyer and team.

Win when we're streaming

Never in doubt again really... Bit like Hull last week, we're happy with the opposition having as much of the ball as they want - If your not going to create anything then its your own bloody fault
Flat 4-4-2 seems to be really helping us at the moment, Cullen and Pratley are a decent combination in the centre (Guess we'll see Cullen | Field on Tuesday) whilst Morgan out wide allows him to make a mark on the game whilst staying out the eye
Felt overall it was a better performance today compared with the Hull game, we certainly had more of the ball and would say that apart from the Phillips save at the start of the 2nd Half; QPR didnt create much
Of course that does replicate the Hull game a little bit but felt that once we'd weathered the 10-min storm at the start of the 2nd period we grew back into it (subs of Doughty | Aneke helped massively) and began to create our own chances which was something we didnt really see last week - Tuesday and Friday are now interesting games, we've dealt with a team in the same boat as us and we've dealt with a team with nothing to play for - Now we've got back to back games against teams who'll really need three points if they want to see their season last.
I know its still early days and with seven games still to happen but think 5pm today will be big sign of things to come
Can Hull get the two wins (or one win and two draws) to surpass us, no I dont think so - Honestly believe that one more win really will confirm Championship Football at the Valley next season
Look up the table, not down it!!5 -
Defensively sound again. Just like last week, every single player carried out their job perfectly. Goes to show how solid we are defensively when they have 65% possession and only one shot on target0
-
We're 200-1 to make playoffs.
Thank me later18
