And, can someone not tie our forwards bootlaces together...peterreeves said:Whatever the result can we please see some passion, fight, a desire to move into space and to keep attacking for over 90 minutes....
Is it to much to ask for????
I hear cries of Yes....

Our best hope is that Luton and Hull draw.Every game that’s been “do-or-die” since Millwall we’ve come up short in. Tomorrow will be no different. 9-0 Wigan.0
-
I think we’ll win tomorrow and secure Championship football for next season.
5-0
Mcgeady x2
chucks x37 -
After today's Court case everyone's delighted that Matt got fined, the players turn up and Charlton hammer Wigan 8-0 and stay up.

Balls to the wall all out siege of their defence.
Just don't concede loads like we did to Hudds'0 -
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play Naby Sarr instead of Jason Pearce. No point trying to play it out from the back and knock the ball into channels when neither of our CBs are capable of pulling that off.

Yeah but JP used to play for Wigan and is going to be desperate to beat them.jacob_CAFC said:PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play Naby Sarr instead of Jason Pearce. No point trying to play it out from the back and knock the ball into channels when neither of our CBs are capable of pulling that off.0 -
we couldn't beat a very out of form brum side, wigan are a form team are they suddenly going to go badly - no think we will lose 2 -0 and another1
-
I have always thought we play best with five at the back.
Naby is a more potent attacking threat from defence than Hemed is up front and it would also allow Doughty to surge forward as wing back.
Put Field, Cullen and Williams 60/McGeady 30 in the midfield and Chucks and Bonne up front.
We will probably still lose of course but at least it's solid with some (not much, I admit) attacking potential.

Stick a tenner on Wigan to win and you know we’ll be all right!2

Not sure about the rest of you but I'm, unusually calm about tomorrow..compared to the absolute nutter my missus witnessed in the 93rd minute on Wednesday!
It's all a bit like at Wembley last year...I don't expect to win but you never know...
Expect the worst and hope for the best I say.
Either way though whatever league we are in next season the shithousery will still be there.... no money, no decent owners, possibly no Manager as I think LB will move on irrespectively and the final nail (according to Boris the great) no bloody fans until October... If were lucky!
It's not exactly looking like a set of wonderful dreams and prizes for staying up but at least if we go down there is one beautiful present... Le Douche gets no extras...
COYR make us proud!2 -
Agreed, I like Pearce and he does ok. But if we are planning to play from the back we need to play Naby either at the expense of JP or as a 3. The Birmingham game we got it wrong clearly as JP cannot play the same balls forward and bring the ball out when needed.jacob_CAFC said:PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play Naby Sarr instead of Jason Pearce. I am actually ok, Birmingham i felt was must win and should win.. we didn't.peterreeves said:Not sure about the rest of you but I'm, unusually calm about tomorrow..compared to the absolute nutter my missus witnessed in the 93rd minute on Wednesday!

I expect a loss, which is very likely but these are the type of circumstances where we pull out a win against the odds or the last day. I am not saying i am confident of staying up at this point but at least its in our hands and anything can happen.
Will pray tonight still and fingers and toes crossed tomorrow.1 -
No I mean if one of hull and Luton draw, we draw and Hudders lose we still won’t be in bottom three! We just have to go for it though!ForeverAddickted said:
We wont be in the bottom three even if we draw regardless of the Huddersfield result - All three will remain below us as Luton / Hull have a vastly inferior Goal Difference (discounting Barnsley)cafc_se7 said:
Not if Hudders lose and we draw it won’t.ElfsborgAddick said:Wigan have had 5 clean sheets in the past 6 games, we struggle to score goals. At the very best I can only see a draw.
The Luton v Hull game ending in a draw changes everything to our chances of staying up. 3 points from either side will probably mean we go onto the Leeds game in the bottom three.1 -

This is football mate! Not a simulated game of football manager! Anything can happen!palarsehater said:we couldn't beat a very out of form brum side, wigan are a form team are they suddenly going to go badly - no think we will lose 2 -0 and another0 -
I have a feeling us not getting a deserved draw vs reading will be the decider actually1

Gavin Ward as referee. Great. One of the really poor referees in my opinion every time I see him0
-
My biggest concern is that we looked so leggy against Birmingham. I don't see how we've got a chance against a form team who've had an extra day to prepare. They're going to destroy us in the second half.0

Still the funniest thing I've seen..classic!Viewfinder said:

Odd though, last game of the season at the Valley that he's officiated for two years running now0 -
Sealed. Love all that stuff.......MattF said:Our current post-restart record looks like WWDLLLD so on that basis I'm going for another 2 wins to complete the palindrome

We don’t have an actual left back, unless Page is fitChris_from_Sidcup said:Same team as last night for me but play Aneke instead of Hemed.
If Doughty isn't fit enough to start then please please play an actual left back there. Not Oshilaja.0 -
Which he is, allegedly.wmcf123 said:

purrington was on the bench last game wasnt he?1

Yeah he came off the bench in place of DoughtyorpingtonRED said:purrington was on the bench last game wasnt he?0 -
Wise calming words from the chief...3

Can somebody knock LB out on 75 minutes. Because I can see us winning and him, yet again throwing fresh legs on to fuck us up.
1-1 an we are fecked by the new Tinkerman.7 -
I would start Doughty again, cant keep dropping kids if they make mistakes. Hes young and yes still learning the game so he will make mistakes but he will improve and hes gonna be a great player in my opinion. LB has to be a bit more patient with the young lads like Alfie and Albie.ForeverAddickted said:

Its the older pros like McGeady and Pearce i think LB has been more patient with than i ever would of been if i was manager, which im not but we all like to think we could dont we. I would of dropped McGeady a few weeks ago but TBF he at least looked interested in trying to make something happen against Brum. Im still not a fan of him and im glad hes only a loan player but if he could score a goal tomorrow or even fucking assist, he would go up a slight notch in my rating😄0 -
Our best chance of scoring a goal would be to ask Derek Hales to get his boots on again. Can’t see anything other than a defeat I’m afraid.2
