Danny Mills thought ahead with action plan. Tactical at least.
Ah Charlton players. The ones that don't actually enjoy playing football.

We know for a fact if we played them and he scored against us, he'd be right up in our faces, giving it large. Let's see them clap him then.
Some wankers still would tragically.2 -

Is Instagram trying to wind me up.
Why the hell would I want to follow him, surely it recognises I unfollowed him recently so I wouldn't want to re follow him lol5 -
This fictitious highest level - a club that haven’t been in the top league of English football for 21 years.Have now unfollowed.5
-
he’s a pathetic c*** ... I am disgusted at myself for buying a shirt with his name on, I’ve met his kind, a waste of humanity and masking extreme insecurity ... an inability to show vulnerability will lead to life not worthy of inspection.2

He'll carry on writing similar to be seen as 'the man' amongst Forest fans. Same old, same old.
He's like the boy who wants to be the cool one in a shopping centre.5 -

Heartbreaker.
Needn't have rubbed it in with the 'water off a 🦆 back', not a classy remark.
One of the biggest shames to experience supporting Charlton.
Scott Parker so what? Same with Danny Murphy, but this one has hurt more for some reason.
Perhaps it is karma for our shameful reaction to Karlan Grant.1 -
He’ll get a load of abuse and replies and be all giddy and happy with himself, he has very low IQ bless him.2

For what it's worth i think we all agree with Darren Bent. We can see why he did it, we can see that Forest fans are delighted at a great free transfer, but obviously we'll never forgive him.7 -
Was talking to my daughter about him last night, she does totally different social media to me and we ended up disagreeing about what constituted "abuse". TBH I hadn't heard about the death threats delivered to his house, though I could guess about the racist nature of some of the abuse. I don't want to see him back at The Valley any time soon, but that sort of stuff is out of order. I'd guess that the "water off a ducks back" is in reference to that.
In terms of keeping us up, yes, he might have, but the real damage was done by Duchatelet, then Southall and Nimer, and compounded by the useless ******s at the EFL. Sorry Lyle, you're only 5th on my list.

Now he's gone, I'd recommend people just ignore him if easily enraged. He's going to continue to post bait on social media because that's what he does, and it'll just wind a lot of Charlton fans up. He's gone and, thanks partly to him, we won't be playing Forest again any time soon. Any attention paid to his social media now just gives him the attention he wants

It's probably an age thing but what's the point of following anyone?5

He's trolling you folks. Like a schoolboy trying to look hard on his first day at "big school". Ignore him.9

I know it is childish but I am a believer in compiling a revenge list. Revenge on the football pitch is the best way. I have always liked Forest but Taylor means they deserve to be added for as long as he is there. Brentford need to be on it and the cheats Sheffield Wednesday. The list shouldn't be too long and extra pleasure will be gained ticking them off.2

But from his own professional (and selfish) standpoint i can see why he did it.1 - Sponsored links:

Most people would walk away with their tail between their legs after behaving as he has done.
Yet he feels it appropriate to further taunt all those at the club, who he has so criminally let down by his actions.
A nasty piece of work.

To be honest, I can see why but it was a massive mistake. Football is and always will be a team game and I think the regret he will take with him the more he thinks about it is how he has let down friends/team mates. People have lost their jobs and money because of his decision and all he had to do was do something he has been doing every week since he was a kid. He didn't have to climb Mount Everest. You can earn lots of money but you will carry what you do with you. And I am sure when he looks back from a point in the future, he will regret his actions.
We had loan players show more loyalty to their mates than he did! Players that nobody expected to return. Anyway, it is his guilt not ours, we should just forget him a.s.a.p.4 -

I think we have all made mistakes so the best we can do is hope he realises what a big one he has made. Not financially but as a person. If he doesn't ever realise it, then we should pity his shallowness. Whatever way, he doesn't win. Look at Naby. A far less spectacular career but he will always be welcome. Look at Cullen. He has never even been a Charlton player but he will always be welcome. There is a way to conduct yourself. If it is just about money, well I pity him. I must admit that I always thought he was better than that!2

He does not constitute a 'professional' sportsman to me. He epitomises all that is wrong with sport.
