Anyone remember the clothes shop (menswear?) at top of Floyd road roughly next to where the off licence is now? I bought my first Starsky wrap round cardigan there, I think I’ve still got it somewhere! 😉😉0

I bought my first Brutus shirts there in about 1970. It was run by an elderly Jewish bloke who would stand in the doorway and try and convince anyone who was window shopping to come and have a good look at the goods.0

I'd completely forgotten about Beatties, I loved that place as a kid.
I would always buy a couple of sausage rolls....after I'd queued up for 10 minutes.1 -
