Anyone remember the clothes shop (menswear?) at top of Floyd road roughly next to where the off licence is now? I bought my first Starsky wrap round cardigan there, I think I’ve still got it somewhere! 😉😉

I think it had a vaguely foreign sounding name that may have ended in el or al. It was a small shop and packed to the rafters, mainly with shirts.valleynick66 said:

When were you there Lazy eye? I had a Friday eve/Saturday job in Wallis's butchery dept 1973-75. I loved it even though the pay was poor. I used to work in Dales - first job after leaving school. They used to copy other designs - eg their copy of Farah trousers had a ‘D’ where the Farah ‘F’ label would be!
