    IN BOWYER WE TRUST.

That is all... Except maybe that Joe Ledley geezer...
    and Oztumer ..
He looked ace in the first half against Forest to be fair... Not a lot since

That was Oztumer's home debut and for 45 minutes that was the best passing I have seen from a Charlton side and the wee man was a giant.  Why he hasn't hit those heights again could be many fold. Injuries and not the same quality to play with.
Conor Gallagher and Cullen in midfield helped ! And a ball playing CB in Naby.

He was also quality in the game in which he got injured and then out for a few months (Derby at home?).  However, he has been poor this season and not great since his return from injury earlier this year

    EDIT: Injured vs Cardiff
People  seem to kick.him because  he is small. Refs need to wake  up.
I get that.  Does not explain why he has been so poor this season and end last.  Probably not the right mix of player around him, but he needs to step up with more assists and goals this season.
Oztumer so poor this season? We're 3 fucking games into it and he's only played against Lincoln, he got some decent balls in from the right wing, what else do you want?

Same goes for Williams and every other player tbf. We need to remember we are 3 yes THREE league games in.

Shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but MM does look like a bit of knob.

If he does it on the pitch though I won't care one jot, and maybe his experiences since joining Hull will have taught him a touch of humility. If Bow's if happy, I'm happy and it's definitely nice to be signing someone with a good track record of getting goals and assists. As always though, what went before doesn't matter, it's what he does ina Charlton shirt that counts.

    Welcome Marcus.

More transfers on that jumper than in our squad.

I just highlighted the pertinent points in my original message and will leave it there...  I really hope he comes good as seems a nice fella.

Sorry Exiled, cocked up your post still learning certain aspects
    of this forum
    No worries Thomas.
  • Is that photo real, looks like Madison's head has been super imposed.

  • Bowyer must be one hell of a manager if he can wear that jumper and still get respect from the squad.

I like how he's signing his hand. Maybe they're not tattoos after all, just likes drawing on himself.

Bowyer has clearly tried to out-do Marcus in the garish clothing choices. Either that or he refused to sign unless Bowyer chucked on the jumper he's designed

Oztumer has been awful this season, played one league game where he was our 3rd highest rated player (on statbank).

Why is it only about league games though?  Surely in mickey mouse cup games he should looks even more impressive.  Anyway, he is under performing based on the standards set last year.
Game 1 - Scores a beautiful free kick against Wimbledon in EFL Trophy
Game 2 - Looks decent against Swindon in League Cup
Game 3 - Looks ordinary against West Ham in the League Cup
Game 4 - Third best player against Lincoln in the League

    Seriously... Stop scapegoating him man.

I wonder if it's always the same blank sheet of A4.

Welcome Marcus... You look a right wrong'un but Bows was seen that way a few years ago too. Let's hope he can teach you the ways...

Not sure on Bow's jumper either... Bet it's like £200
  • Lee’s jumper isn’t as bad a stinker as Maddison’s watch...

Crocs are go too footware for Carp Fishermen or anyone that fishes all night. Waterproof, lightweight and easy to slip into when you jump out your sleeping bag when the buzzer screams off.
  • Gallen looks exhausted
But he also sounds very excited, so refreshing to hear after months of shit.

They need to sell it in the club shop. Could be a Christmas hit!

Doughty one side... Maddison the other... If only we could have cloned a 30-year old Kermorgant!!
That's service from each wing, the goals will start to come for Bonne, Schwartz and keep coming from Washington.

Yeah Lee's jumper sort of distracts from this signing. Wonder what he was thinking.

I am wondering if paying a wet behind the ears 20 year old more than a senior player of 30 years of age is a clear case of ageism when applied by an official body or governance organisation to be forced upon its members and then fine them  money or points deduction ompliance.

If I were to apply for a job I don't need to disclose my age . Therefore a player applying for a job need not do this either. Thus he can be treated like a 20 year old and under no restrictions. The employee didn't  tell you his age and it is not for you to guess surely.
To be fair, you simply answer I identify as a 20 year old.
