  • It's getting close to Parker time :)

    Q. Scott or Josh ?

    A Josh.

We may wait to the next window and get our man.

Josh of course. The other one changed his name to Cnut
  • It would be slightly underwhelming if we only bring in loans today, and neither of them are actually a goalscoring striker. We freed up wages yesterday, if Dillon is left out of the 23, that's more wages that can be used.

Apart from anything else, Bogle and Washington is no depth at all. Aneke isn't a number 9, while Davison has barely played this season

Getting nervous now that Shinnie really is going to be the last one through the door

However 109 minutes to change that!

Smyth and Shinnie in on loan, Sorba Thomas would have been the bonus.

If it turns out like this you can put me on the register

Don’t get the approach with Thomas at Borehamwood. We’ve put a bid in and they’ve said no, so we’ve moved on? Surely if we’re that interested we’d go back and negotiate. Bizarre
Why is it bizarre? If they want more than we're willing to pay we move on.

For all we know, that could be happening. No one knew anything of Shinnie until this morning, so who knows what is being cooked up

100 minutes to get some deals done, including Shinnie as he's yet to be announced officially.

Very underwhelming if that is the case, regardless of cap! Doncaster and Burton have made two good signings today that would have been options for us. Will be very deflated if we can’t bring in similar quality.

Or we've put in a take it or leave it bid.

If they want to sell him, they will.

Anyone know who that Hendrik Johan is on twitter? Comes out with some right sh*te
Reckon half the fanbase muted his twitter feed months ago. No-one ever replies to his insane rambling and if you mute him, you won’t be tempted to either.
Muted him mate but he still comes up on the cafc hashtag!

Other than the great expectations of Golfie and TBF to Golfie that is his maverick role to be contrary. Most of us were going by the words of Lee Bowyer when Bonne left the building.

That really isn't being negative as to a man and woman we are just so fucking grateful to still have a team to support after the Northern tribes tried to milk us dry.

I also have Ben Ransom notifications on just in case
  • Shinnie is a pretty big signing so that fits with the Cawley tweet

Shinnie is a good player but Rich has lost it if he's the big fish. What is about to happen?

Is he?  Most of us had only heard of him when his name was read out on the Luton team sheet last time we were in League one.  Hardly big time Charlie.....

Not complaining about the signing as it sounds like a decent deal but a 31 year old out of favour midfielder on loan from the league above isn't really a 'big singing'
