Inniss makes 2 important clearances in that move, then Northampton shoot wide. Famewo's now down.

Cut on face maybe?

Think our midfield has looked much better in the 2nd half. JFC looked a different player with Pratley playing next to him.7

Another NTFC freekick, headed clear by Inniss, and again by him as they pump it back in.

5 mins added time and Inniss heads out for a throw on our right. This time Pratley clears, and now Northampton have a throw.

Inniss sounds a bit no nonsense, gets the job done. Seems to have been a great spot by Bows/Gallen.0

Long throw into the area hoofed away by Inniss and Bogle wins a freekick.

I still have too much PTSD from last season to enjoy a win until the whistle blows.

Innis built for games like today. Like a Jason Pearce who has been on growth hormones.Pratley has made a difference too. For all the complaints at halftime about the quality of the play, I think we’ve been impressive in many ways today. We’ve battled away really well and absolutely earnt the right today. I find that very encouraging as that has been the foundation on which Bowyer’s good teams have been built and was clearly missing in early matches this season.6

Innes tries something different and clears the ball with his foot. He’s been a rock.6

He may not be the best player anymore, but he stayed with us this season when most others wanted out, has a great heart and a great work rate. Personally, I would love to find some future for him at the club in the coaching staff when his playing days are done, perhaps. Quality lad.
Good to see you back on here, mate!

Maatsen bombs down the left but his pass to Smyth just goes over the goalline before he can get to it.

Thanks! Harvest finally ended 48 hours ago so woke up early to follow this match. Wifey is still sleeping.

When it comes to bad away games I seem to remember Swindon in 1999. We were in the only uncovered side and the rain was almost horizontal into our faces. Someone made a few quid selling plastic macs - obviously they knew the Swindon weather.
But we won 1-0 so it wasn't in vain and it was a joy watching Paul Mortimer weave his magic.6 -
