Lyle will score a couple of goals and go back to being King Lyle at another club.
That's why he doesn't seem to care.1 -

I think it's very commendable the way that he hid his joy when Sunderland twice went behind!26

Paul Cook sounds the exact same as Bowyer to me but isnt getting the same abuse on twitter.
What people need to remember is, they are managers not pundits3 -

I can’t imagine he will really give a fuck30

I love Bowyer, and for me it’s part of his charm, but he is undeniably a miserable sod sometimes. Even when we’ve won handsomely he’s hard to get excited. The fact he’s not over emotional is a part of why he’s making a success of management, but it’s not necessarily a formula for being a good pundit. No doubt he’d improve with practice.19

He's not a natural at this, is he?10

I wonder how much they get for being a pundit, easy money compared to standing on the touch line in the pouring rain.0

Million percent prefer that compared to Robbo who liked to show off his acting skills.Exiled_Addick said:I love Bowyer, and for me it’s part of his charm, but he is undeniably a miserable sod sometimes. Cook is much better imho. The trick is to keep talking and that's why Morrison keeps getting on the show.
Bowyer thinks about what he's going to say. Great in a manager, not so much in a commentator.
But I really don't care, he's got a full time job and he does that brilliantly.20 -
Making Clinton Morrison look like the finest pundit football has seen!16
-
Who cares how he comes across on the Box !
He does all the talking he needs to do on the training pitch and on the touchline.
THAT'S what matters.
Bet our lads respect and love him as much as we do.
No-one else's opinion counts.

I must admit some of the twatter comments made me chuckle. Paint watches Lee Bowyer dry.
Bless him, he'll never make a football pundit, but I bet none of those in the studio have caught a 30lb carp.9 -

Wonder if he'll be asked back again..........0

He’s a football manager . I don’t understand the fetish in this country for listening to the opinions of ex players.2

When we win league one by 10 clear points.
And we will
That's the time to listen to what he says2
