The Browns 38 points in 1 half is a franchise record.

No, sorry, we've had them all this year (Lambo, McLaughlin, Rosas, Jon Brown, Hauschka, aaaaaand... Brandon Wright?).

    Raiders - FFS
  • Ejections all over the Phins-Bengals game, it's been a bit of a slogfest but the Ds all over Allen the backup QB, Finley's coming in.

I can't work us out this year. We look alright, but we've got KC next week and that'll be the true test for whether we're playoff-ready yet.

I just don't see the Jets slipping up and losing their 100% record.

Today was a prime example: they were in danger of a win, so they had an all-out blitz leaving Henry "4.27 40-yard dash" Ruggs in single coverage against a UDFA cornerback, with no safety help. Easy win for the Raiders.

I was beside myself there. Aaarrrggghhhh

Greg Williams quote often blitzes with no safety in that situation apparently

I guess clinging on but looking at that final defensive play there's absolutely no way they aren't intentionally tanking.

Scratching my head at the Patriots. A 45-0 win looks like an absolute rout, but dig deeper into the stats and we only threw 126 yards and rushed 165, total yards was less than 300

We scored 2 defensive TDs, which rolling on from last season was a big strength of ours, but 6-6 with the Phins and the Bills both ahead of us we won't be making the playoffs, and I think we will need at least 2 seasons to rebuild and regain control of the AFC.

I doubt that will be under BB but I have no idea who we'll turn to long term after him, McDaniels maybe? But when he took the big role at Broncos he was terrible, though that was 10 years ago now

Tuning into the Steelers-WFT matchup now, and the intro pitting the two QBs against each other as Comeback Player of the Year nominees was nice, but man does it give me goosebumps to see Alex Smith back out there. Absolutely amazing stuff (and there's obviously no doubt he'll be the award recipient).

Greg Williams has been sacked after that blitz against Raiders
  • Unbelievably happy after that Washington win last night in Pittsburgh.  Done without Gibson too.

Think we may have turned a corner. We never recovered from the loss of Smith  two years ago.

WFT and Giants forging ahead.   Makes the Cowboys plight even more laughable.   Bad coaching, bad injuries, bad negotiating.

Jerry Jones needs to let go of total control now and let younger, more in touch with the game nowadays people take charge.... too long now with abject embarrassment for us Cowboys fans.

The victory over the Cowgirls was not expected but not a shock, but last night’s victory was a huge shock. I hadn’t seen anyone tip Washington to win.
It showed what they could do if everything falls into place and a slice of luck.
    Great coaching teams also help

The only person Jerry Jones takes notice from is himself when he looks in the mirror. Fed up of all the yes-men on the coaching staff.

Conceded over 200 yards rushing and missed THREE field goals.   I mean genuinely we are just shit.

The Jets remaining fixtures are the Seahawks, Rams, Browns and Patriots. I can't see where one win's coming from let alone three.

Same goes for us. Derrick Henry will run over our defence as usual; the Ravens will beat us; the Bears - maybe that's our best chance to win a second game - then the Colts always beat us at their place.

After we were 1-5 and the Jets 0-6, there were odds on both teams remaining winless at 66/1. That is now 5/2. Huge.

That opening day win against the Colts must feel like a long time ago. Btw I'm sorry that Minshew didn't work out for you, I wasn't ever convinced he was a franchise QB but I always enjoyed watching him play.
