Murray gone

Thank you Richard. It is time for you to dust off the wig and concentrate on your Mick Jagger tribute act.
Let me know when your playing in Medway, i'll have a bowl of rotten fruit ready...2 -
Murray could’ve been remembered for being one of the good guys in the history of our club but his ego and dare I say it his vindictiveness towards certain people and detrimental support of others will have him remembered as one who ultimately damaged us. I wish him no ill will but will shed no tears now that he’s gone.1

I think he’s in dialogue with TS from what the latter said to me. Whether that translates into anything who can say, but he hasn’t “gone away”.

He's going to be unveiled as the new head physio next week.6

We all move on, Murray has certainly divided a supporting generation of us Addicks, he did suffer terrible personal issues but did give us a taste of the the good times spent at the top table. I for one wish him well because of those 7-10 years but unfortunately he outstayed his welcome, and never left when the door was gaping open.1

That's a very mild version of what you usually say

Scott Minto, Gordon Watson and Damian Matthews joined that junior team the year I left at about 15 - didn’t want to be on the bench !!!!0
-
That team was the equivalent of senrab in east London - we won everything year after year0

So near yet so far Doucher.
You could've have been a scapegoat to rival Morgan Fox at the valley.
On second thoughts you've been a scapegoat on CL !

I've mellowed in me old age0 -
In the big picture he probably did as much good in the earlier years as the harm he did in the latter years. Goodbye Richard, shut the door on your way out.0

I do remember an interview with Murray when Curbs left with him saying he was just as responsible for Charlton’s success. We all know how that ended. Good luck to him his early years in charge at Charlton were some of the best years supporting the club....the 4-2 win at Arsenal 4-1 home thrashing of Chelsea finishing 7th etc....shame it ended the way it did. Enjoy your retirement and deserves his 3 million back more so than the cast of dubious characters taking money out of the club the last few years5

Richard put his money in ,he is still owed 3m,which to the best of my limited knowledge he has not pushed to get back, pretty sure there has been opportunities over the years to reimburse himself.Appreciate he went a bit odd after he sold the club, but some of the abuse he gets on here is the same level as the the shitbags and pondlife who tried to wreck the club.8

I don't agree with foul mouthed public villification but I am delighted if he is no longer in a position of influence11 -
