    Good stuff.

The only problem with fewer entries is that some good ones will inevitably be jettisoned for some of the more er eclectic entries.
True, maybe we could have a single thread that just had all the not selected images attached to it with numbers rather than nom de plate attached?

    @AFKABartram though.

Why are Yorkshires with Christmas Dinner such a no no?
Ignore, it’s a roast dinner. Of course Yorkies are fine with it
Sometimes your friends have to tell you things you don't want to hear.  Yorkshires go with roast beef. If you are having roast beef, go for it.  For god's sake,  why do we have traditions at all?  Just be like cafcsinger and have curry If you want to be an anarchist.   Just throw everything in the blender and cook it in the microwave.
It’s traditional to have fish and chips.

Doesn’t mean you can’t have chips with anything else.

    Just sent you mine @AFKABartram
Are you back home in New Zealand?

Either that or the Danish Time Difference with England is greater than I realised ;)
@ForeverAddickted Home is Denmark not NZ. Been living here for the past 14 years or so.

We celebrate on the evening of the 24th so I’ve already eaten my Xmas dinner. 😄

I'm sorry.  Fish and chips for christmas dinner? This is absolute madness.

No, I was using it as a rebuttal to you can’t have Yorkshire puddings unless it is with beef

As it's going to be my first Christmas without my family, and therefore without tradition being needed, I might mix mine up a bit.

    Then again, I might not.

I will however take a picture, my main problem is that when I see food I instinctively start eating it and I'm normally halfway through mine before I've remembered to take a picture!

  • It’s bloody hard taking a picture of your own head for this rate my pate competition.

I was by far the winner in my category.
And your category was “awful dinners you wouldn’t give to the dog”?

Shades of Charlie Drake in his ‘60s sitcom.
  • As someone not interested in the slightest in this would it be possible to keep it to just one thread or add it to the groups section please?

Must have been about 15 separate threads last year polluting this Forum. Was difficult to get to meaningful threads last time.

Judging by the steam either that plate is at 300 degrees or your house is on fire.
