What level of outrage are we at?

It’s reached the stage for me that I can’t bear following the Match Thread or checking in on what the score may be on other sites, when matches are in progress.

However I thought this thread might help if others are willing to help?

if so, can you post your level of outrage or euphoria during the games, so I have some idea of whether to be outraged or euphoric too. Even if I may not know what I’m outraged or euphoric about!

Thanks for any cooperation.

Ps. No deliberate misleading emotions or kidology, please.

I’m already outraged with you @paulie8290
  • 2 - glad we are still in existence in 2021. That seemed doubtful not too long ago.

Expectation has turned to acceptance really.

Got to treat this as a rebuild year with hopefully a sniff of the playoffs and rebuild in June

Acceptance? Fuck that. We have better players than the other teams, they're just being grotesquely mismanaged or injured

    Doesn’t sound promising?

Give me a break... Mismanaged... They're not babies!!

Every goal we've conceded of late has been down to an individual being unable to do his job properly

What do you want, Bowyer to make every decision for them out on the pitch?

We don’t. We have a pretty disfunctional squad.

Quality in paper doesn’t make a good team.

    Indifference because of COVID.
  • We have to bring in at least one, or preferably two central defenders, sooner in this transfer window, rather than scrambling about on the last day. We have at least five more games this month, and by the time the window closes any chance of sneaking into the play-offs could be just a pipe-dream.

C'mon deep down you know the goal was Bowyer s fault

    Yes, mismanaged or poorly coached.

If players keep making errors, it’s a coaching problem. If it’s not corrected and you keep picking those players, that’s also a coaching problem. And if you signed or extended the contracts of players who can’t stop making errors, that’s also a coaching problem.

We could go on and on about players being played out of position, not following the plan, or being asked to do something they can’t.

At some point the coach has to be responsible for what the players do on the pitch.

Not necessarily ‘outraged’ but the optimism is evaporating excruciatingly quickly!’

I don't agree that we have better players. Bigger names possibly but not better.

We are also into January and Bowyer couldn't tell you his best team or formation.

Need to try to stay up this season. Hopefully the few chances we make, Schwartz can put away and we get the two centre halves back. Playing like the last 2 games we'll get relegated.

Not outraged in the slightest. Disappointed yes, worried yes, outraged no. It's not great at the moment, but cool heads are needed, not everyone going off on one left right and centre.

    Feel a bit meh.

Given the rather predictable circumstances and a note to self to keep things in perspective during a deadly pandemic; I just can't bothered to get the outrage bus out of the garage, let alone fire up the engine and floor the accelerator pedal.

    Soz.

Resignation rather than outrage for me.

We are suffering from years of neglect and, pre Thomas,  all Bowyer has had to work with are half fit aged crocks or Snow White Panto rejects.

When he has got a 'proper' player, either via the Academy or from outside, they've been sold on or injured long term.

Thomas came in and we signed Inniss, Famewo, Shinnie, Gunter and Maddison. Maddison injured himself virtually straight away but the others slotted straight in and we went on a run of wins which has probably generated the expectation which is cursing Bowyer now. One by one the new signings got injured along with Doughty the one genuinely quick player we have. They're all out for however long hence, inevitably, our form has slumped.

A couple of months back we were grateful to have a Club to support still. We should remember that.

It pissed me off watching Accrington Stanley give us a lesson tonight but you have to earn the right to play. Accrington's players wanted it and showed the physical desire to get it. We didn't. Our players are at this level for a reason. We saw that tonight. On a good day at full strength we can beat anyone in this league but when weakened there will be peaks and troughs. At the moment we are in a f****** great dip!

Disappointing tonight, and in recent weeks. But you don't become a bad manager in a month, particularly when you've lost the two lynchpins that brought 6 clean sheets on the spin earlier in the season.

What really depresses me is how quick some people are ready to jump on the "sack the manager" bandwagon. Don't understand how the last 2 and a bit years can count for nothing so suddenly.
