    Absolutely textbook extra time. 15 mins of total dominance culminating in a goal, shape change to add solidity in the second half and total control from there. Whenever we had a sniff of goal in that second half we didn't try to force anything and kept hold of the ball intelligently. Southgate has drilled these players so well and removed the individualism of players who might have tried to get their names in lights. Foden so clearly wanted to score but was mature enough to play the team game. Superb stuff and you can see how brilliant a coach Southgate is for this squad

    I’m scared about how drunk I’m going to get on Sunday.

    denmark looked knackered after 60 minute, only one team that was going to win it then. Sterling was world class today, just kept going and going. Rice was everywhere, Kane a nuisance. What a result.

    What impressed me the most was how we controlled the game after going in front. Three minutes of possession at the end of the second period of extra time.  It usually us training in vain to get the ball back.
