No surprise that our arrears period was 2014 to end of 2017. Basically our period stopped when Meire left.1

Just to be clear, the three bullet points relate to all businesses on the list, not just Charlton. It's still a disgrace though. What I'd like to know though, is what happens next? The details are probably more relevant to learn - its not obvious from the headline if this was a repeated issue over 7 years and in which case sums (hopefully) very low for the individuals impacted, how long individuals were out of pocket, an inherited issue from pre RD days not corrected, if it was a refusal to correct and was disputed by staff or just potentially an admin oversight (at best) that was remedied when identified. Headline obviously isn't the whole story.0

Yeah, it’s very different for each company mentioned. I’m sure some were repeat offenders over several years. The £1880:12 arrears shared between 16 workers occurred between 1/6/2014 and 3/3/2017.
So definitely down to Duchatelet & Meire.7 -

I hope the club publishes a statement on this as Coventry City have done.I'd like it to cover:1. Point out it happened under Duchatelet.2. What went wrong. The type of staff who were affected, and what work activities.3. A commitment that a system has been put in place to prevent it happening again.4. Ideally, a commitment to move towards paying the London Living Wage, and becoming accredited by the Living Wage Foundation.(For those that aren't aware, this government has tried to undermine the campaign for a living wage by rebranding the minimum wage as the "national living wage", so causing confusion. The real Living Wage is currently £10.85/hour in London and £9.50 elsewhere for all over 18s, compared with the national living wage of £8.91 for the over 23s.) The extra cost would be minimal for a club like ours, and would probably actually pay for itself in better staff morale and lower staff turnover. Some football clubs are already accredited.15

Appreciate it is nothing to do with Thomas, but would be rather surprised should a statement not come from the club in response to acknowledge failures in previous administrations, ie duchats.
Sure that Thomas and the current management team are appalled at these findings putting the good name of the club in the press for the wrong reasons.1 -
due to the fact that TS still has to deal with RD regarding the ground and training ground, I can't imagine him wanting to slag the no good yellow toothed cunt off over this.

Portsmouth have made an announcement about there mention on the list. They’d made a full statement back in 2018 about the staff not paid enough.1

I understand where you are coming from. But as far as I am aware the COO from that period is still in that role. Of course this is news to us. But it will not be to the club who probably would have noticed when they had to pay the fine and make recompense to the staff. Surely, at that time, some form of contrite press release should have gone out?0 -

We don't know when / how the infringement was spotted do we? Entirely possible it was made good as soon as identified / queried / escalated. Given the overall low value (at face value) it may have been an error that was surfaced after the event. Of course it could equally be a long running dispute.Dazzler21 said:

We don't know the detail is my point - all we seem to know at least it was not an issue after 2018.
