Well there’s the save but Washington really should score there.2

73' Chance! Matthews pulls back for Kirk on the edge of the box, but Jaaskelainen makes the save. #cafc 2 #crewealex 00

Charlie, Charlie, Charlie!
That was your moment, boy!
Good run to get into the middle of the box, good pass from Matthews(?) to find him ... but a piss-weak shot along the ground straight into the 'keeper's clutches.0 -
If he can’t score a one-on-one against a 46 year old I’m done.ross1 said:72' Chance! Washington gets in one-on-one, but Jaaskelainen makes the save. #cafc 2 #crewealex 04 -
Lovely football there. Proper overlapping run from Matthews. We will surely score again soon.1

Three good saves from CM again today. Really need to put this game to bed.1

Would make a change from Charlton being in a deep hole with 15 minutes to go.Exiled_Addick said:Lee into the hole and Washington to the left?0 -
Should probably go to 4-5-1 no?0

Come on Charlton, we can still win this !👏5
-
Morgan off the line now. Come on Reds FFS. Why can we never just have a comfortable end to a match?0
-
77' Close for Crewe. Morgan nods off the line after a corner was headed past MacGillivray. #cafc 2 #crewealex 00

Of course, we’ve helped to get them up there!Callumcafc said:Wigan 1-0 against Pompey.

Sort of understand that sub of Lee for Kirk, can't say that I have seen a great deal from Kirk, may be service?, but has been quiet, chance for Lee to give us a third

I'm having a very unfamiliar feeling for this stage of a game...
It's quite relaxing.0 -
There’s Matthews with one of those blind infield passes again. Gets away with it this time.1

80' Chance after chance! Washington and Morgan see shots blocked before Stockley's header is kept out by a fine save! #cafc 2 #crewealex 00

What a save! Much better build up and an excellent cross. Albie should accept the corner though.0

Brilliant play. Brilliant save.1

Oh. My. Word.
What a save.
A bit of pinball in the Crewe box with everyone lining up to have shots, then the ball went out wide right for a lovely cross to Stockers, only for the Crewe 'keeper to make a miraculous save to claw the ball out from the top corner and keep the score at 2-0.1 -
Good strength from Deji there.0

They are only in those positions because they beat us. If they had lost or drawn against us they would be 10th-14th.Callumcafc said:Wigan 1-0 against Pompey.
