Equally impressive as, if not more so, Raducanu is Leylah Fernandez of Canada.Turned 19 during the middle of this tournament and has just knocked the fifth seed to reach the semi final.0
-
Another Canadian with a bright future is Félix Auger-Aliassime. Only just turned 21, one of his coaches is Nadal's uncle, and he's now into the semi finals.
Will probably break into the world's top 10 after this.0 -
His defeated opponent Carlos Alcaraz is one to watch too.0

Bencic's is hitting really deep into Emma's court .. the crowd seems to be on Emma's side .. so far0
-
Good to get on the board, should help settle a few nerves.0
-
Raducanu very nearly went 0-3 & double break down in the opening set of the last round but held serve. Similar story here.
Bencic clearly at a completely different level to anything she has faced previously. ER just has to hang in, hold serve and wait for an opportunity to break back.0 -
Oof bad time to shank one off the frame of the racket.0
-
Hate the shadow. Struggling to see the ball.0

There's the break, come on0

Raducanu serving for the first set all of a sudden.
What an amazing rally that was to set up the break point.1 -
Some stunning play by Emma.0
-
She's quite good, isn't she? Seems to learn so much so quickly!0
-
wow Emma0
-
She's just so good.
First set to ER - 6-3 after being 1-3 down.0 -
Looked really nervous at the start and now playing with such confidence.0
-
This is the rally I was referring to a few posts up.0
-
She always hits behind her opponent whenever she has the opportunity. I noticed that in all her previous matches. Bencic is waiting for that shot now.2
-
Break ahead in the second set... just has to hold it now. Bencic getting aggy at the other end of the court.0
-
Maximum two more holds of serve and she's there.0
