If the quality of the match stays this high, we are in for a treat1
-
Important hold that from 0-30 down, just as Fernandez was getting some momentum0
-
Thought the let/trainer thing was just me hearing things, glad it's not!!0
-
Yep, well played Emma. That was important, got the feeling Fernandez could’ve rolled through the first set with another break there.0

I’m bloody knackered4

Does anyone else think it sounds like the ball clips the net with every serve?6
-
Yeah, watch their feet though, it's them landing after a serve.AFKABartram said:Does anyone else think it sounds like the ball clips the net with every serve?1 -

Incredible0

She’s so talented which is incredible in itself but I can’t wrap my head around how good she is mentally. It’s beyond belief.1

I'm absolutely gutted that I'm missing Last Night of the Proms on BBC for this though.
I know. I said I wouldn't mention it again!!!2 -
Big hold that, set and a break down is a long way back.0

And suddenly a break up instead.North Lower Neil said:Big hold that, set and a break down is a long way back.

Just got in and turned on and seen her get broken.
I should probably turn off again!2 -
I think Emma has to put the match to bed this set because if she loses it then Fernandez will have the momentum and Emma not having to have played three sets here might count against her.
Come on Emma!!!!0 -
She’s fought back from losing serve first many times already this tournament. Confident she will get some opportunities to pull this back.1
