Watching Newcastle with envy

Yes it could all go Tits up....
But the hope and anticipation there today
I really hoped that under TS - a new  dawn was upon us
I still believe it can be
He has some big decisions to make - for that to happen!

It actually makes me sad for two reasons:

    1. that so much in this country now is reliant on Middle East, Chinese or Russian money

    2. I’ve had 4 in for a 5-fold and Spurs were my outstanding one. Ummed and arrred on the cash out allday but let it run :-(

I've bet on Spurs to win, but the atmosphere there is electric. I think that TS can get the same at the Valley but he needs to dump NA now and bring in someone who can start winning games.
As for the new owners of Newcastle I'm genuinely disgusted they got it.

They’ve done a full Charlton already
  • Used to like Newcastle but I'm so sick of their whingeing fans...

David Ginola speaking so much sense! He supports the BHF, who helped save my life!

  • CPR is vital for the brain until the  Defib restarts the heart, if that is indeed the case.

For anyone to do CPR, it’s a very brave thing to do and without doubt takes a lot of courage but so very vital.
It you don’t know what to do, please learn it ASAP because it certainly can make a difference

This has genuinely upset me, but well done to Spurs players for bringing the incident to the refs attention.
  • Warming to see fans in that section and Regullion applauding each other alike as they got restarted.

Just reported that the person has been stabilised, thank god for that.
Football takes a backseat when this happens, but at least its good news for the supporter

Can Bruce survive the chop…I mean the axe….errrr…the sack?
  • My Dad told me when he saw a Policeman doing CPR on Blackfriars Bridge early 80’s on a commuter who had suffered a heart attack - Dad was in the Army and did first aid training, but he was shocked at how ‘brutal’ he was being to do the CPR - Ginola has explained that very very well - you have to break ribs

I remember when ESI took over some fans were singing "we're fucking rich....."

    That worked out well then.

Unfortunately it’s not just broken ribs. If you are shocked by a defibrillator, it burns your skin and your left scared too

    I’m getting Lion King vibes…
  • When they used the defib on me back in 2009 they nuked most of my chest, small price to pay obviously but everything grew back white, ironically a bit like a human Newcastle shirt.

Fuck Saudi blood money and any praise of their ownership.

Would literally rather be relegated than be envious of being a puppet for the worst state in the world.

Shearer made me sick on MOTD last night defending it. Said that the takeover has been a good thing as it’s highlighted the human rights abuses and made people talk about it.

This is why people say keep politics out of football, because footballers trying to justify human rights abuses in the name of a bigger transfer budget makes me want to give up on the sport altogether.
