    Maybe because we have just 2 strikers in the whole squad. Yes, another  player could score (like Lee or DJ)  but Kirk, or CBT wont trouble the scorers. 

    As I said, get an injury early on to one of the front 2 then we have no recognised striker to replace him. Burstow must be on a high so he should have been on the bench.

    Are you suggesting if Davison gets injured, we should’ve had Burstow ready on the bench to play up front on his own against League One defenders?

    That would do his confidence the world of good I’m sure…

    We started the season with four strikers, one has gone back to Denmark, one is on international duty and one is sent off. Sh*t happens. We will bring someone in in January to replace Schwartz I’m sure. Until then we make do with the three we have.

    As you can  see, I'm not really a stat man. The 14 consecutive games stat came from Sky.

    Stockley fell for it though. He's been doing silly things since Cheltenham at home when aimed a slap on somebody's face and it was missed by the ref (and Lee Joaner).
