Just caught some of the family press conference on Sky Sports News
Questions asked of the brother -
Can you confirm he tested positive on 16 Dec? Oh yes' he confirmed nodding
Can you confirm he attended an event the very next day? He started ginning and answered 'this press conference is adjourned'1 -

A great sporting role model.1 -
If I’ve got this right, he applied for his visa in November and only satisfied the requirements for the visa by catching covid a month later in December…. convenientHe then attended two public events in the 2 days after he received his positive test result and didn’t have to isolate for the 14 days as required by Serbian law.Who in their right mind believes this idiot1

- Novak Djokovic has returned to the tennis court after winning a court battle in Australia that overturned his visa cancellation, his family says
- "Novak is free," his brother tells a press conference in Belgrade, Serbia
- "Justice has won and the rule of law has won," his father tells the media
- The men's number one himself is expected to join them by video link - he is yet to make any public appearance since being freed from detention
- Djokovic's lawyers argued in court that the visa cancellation was unreasonable and the judge agreed
- But Australia's immigration minister still has powers to re-cancel the visa and deport the unvaccinated tennis player

If he did genuinely test positive and then swanned around infecting people I assume everyone is okay with this?
You couldn't make this stuff up.

These pricks give cnuts a bad name3

My understanding is that the court hearing today only considered the fact that Djokovic had been treated unfairly by the immigration department who didn't allow him the time they granted for him to come up with more evidence. The judge did not look at the chronology or the facts surrounding his claim for an exemption.
It is becoming increasingly clear that such claim for exemption was fabricated and is riddled with inconsistencies, out of chronological sequence, and bare-faced lies. If Morrison has any balls he would overrule the judgement and kick him out. I won't hold my breath though.9 -

Getting back, for a moment, to the reason Novak is in Australia in the first place, tennis, imprisonment is hardly the ideal preparation for an athlete embarking upon a Grand Slam. There must be a point whereby Novak decides to say 'sod your tournament' and return home to Serbia if he considers that he has little or no chance of defending his title through lack of practice.0

Not sure if they will take any further action, although I really hope so0 -

Admittedly he hasn't had the best few days prep but he still has plenty of time.0 -
The Anti Vaxxers will see it as a victory for them, but in reality, it's a victory for the rich & famous.
Disappointed, but not surprised2
