Key thing for me is his enthusiasm and approach for next season seems high, talk of increasing budget further and at a competitive level for promotion, seems there’s a fair strategy think already in place for next year, that Jacko is clearly in plan for next season etc
Perhaps I misread it all
He said he/we have lost £8M this season.
He is going to increase the budget next season.
He wants to break even.
Where is the extra £8M+ coming from?
He seems as deluded as Roland to me, albeit a nice egotist.
He's sounding exactly like RD now, thinking he can run the club with people who have no idea and he can run it at break even and head to the premier League. No chance.
think they can buck the trend and try until the cost gets too high who else is going to step in?
We need deluded wealthy people don’t we?1 -

Only thinks a few signings are required for a top 2 next season.
3rd highest budget in league one?He said he’s lost 8m this season and that can’t continue.Jackson already building and planning for next season in terms of transfers etc.
mentioning about derby situation.A few more players and we’ll probably have a moderately better season than this one and maybe finish just outside the play offs
This is where I am starting to fear for the grand plan, because unless we get 6/7 quality players in over the summer, we’ll be at home to Shrewsbury again in the 23/24 season. TS is talking up breaking even and growing revenue. That won’t be the case if we’re still in League One in 2 years
Let’s see come the summer recruitment. I’m not confident at the moment21 -

Thinks he can run the club with people who have no idea and additionally he can run it at break even.
He will also get us to The Premier League breaking even.
No chance, not when everyone else is spending money like confetti.9 -

I can't see how that fills the £8m gap on it's own but it does fit in with other rumours about expenditure to increase advertising revenue.
As it stands I can't see more than 6/7K S/T holders next season if what he says happens.
Even if there are larger freebie attendances next season I doubt increased advertising and sponsorship would amount to £500K and probably far less.0 -
How are we going to get to cat 1 with the academy, and when we will get there, scant details provided.0

Would he be kissing up to RD because he's got plans on getting hold of the assets? Out foxing the fox3

Since turn of the year we are 22nd in the form table. That has included another full transfer window and subsequent games where we have lost 5 in a row. Something in the business model, isn't as simple as our owner thinks (or is willing to state).5

It's exhausting to read all the constant negativity on here, fuck knows how some of you live, nay revel in it day in day out...28

He's obviously referring to the men's team.0 -
And I agree re: the other comments about his positivity and passion so far. It’s great. It’s just not enough6

I like him. I want him to succeed. But based on the interview I see nothing that suggests he actually will.14 -

And from what I've just heard he definitely needs that type of person in his sphere.
Also, he's not really saying anything different from what he was saying 18 months ago. It really doesn't sound very progressive to me.
Just a bloke who's stumbled his way into the football scene who's going to have a lot of fun and lose a lot of money along the way.3 -

I'm just grateful we still have a club. Anything more is a bonus8 -

He’s made mistakes and he will no doubt make more but does everyone expect us to suddenly do a Southampton and shoot up the leagues? The guy is trying his hardest and spending money. He’s not out to fail so let’s cut him some slack? Not many people would put themselves in his shoes and he isn’t ruining the club like others have.22

Southampton spent big and had a good batch come through the academy in one go.
he didn’t say anything he hasn’t said before since he’s been here, none of it was a shock, and I think his template of success looks more Brentford/Brighton/Norwich then other clubs who had flashed the cash and burned7 -
