    You have to look ahead to a potential Wales v Scotland game which will be a good watch.

    So the Semi-Finals now consist of

    New Zealand vs Tahiti
    Solomon Islands vs Papua New Guinea

    United Arab Emirates must have blown their chances of progressing to the Play-Offs against Australia - Lost 1-0 to Iraq and now end their campaign against South Korea... Iraq a point behind face Syria who are already eliminated, whilst Lebanon (three points behind) go to Iran.

    Its not like they've done a great job in AFC - Nor do their club teams do overly well in the AFC Champions League - Gone massively backwards, although replacing the likes of Kewell / Viduka / Schwarzer... That aint gonna be easy.

    Not really been taking much notice of these games. Are the semis over 2 legs or just the one.

    Portugal practically through 2-0 up against a poor Turkey. Italy all over Macedonia but can’t score.

    Austria back in it. 2-1 now. Good game. 
    Bale had put Wales 2-0 up with another excellent goal, and the commentators then spent the next 10 minutes sucking him off. He’s a great player, no doubt, but the gushing hyperbole gets a bit much sometimes.

    The 2018 World Cup in Russia was the first time in 60 years Italy failed to qualify for the showpiece event.

    Now they’ve failed to qualify for TWO world cups IN A ROW!

    But they managed to win the European Championship in between.
