33 needed off 5. Hopefully Finch and Stewart will take us home and into the knock outs with the other results going our way
Shouldn't have typed that should I. Stewart goes!

We win with one ball to spare!!!

How poetic that Stevo will get to face his first club for us in that match.

Hats off to these guys. A lot of them wouldn't have been in this side but for that other comp but they have now dug deep in two games now to get over the line. Brilliant stuff.

Does that mean it's Leicestershire away?

We got through - very happy with that, and great performance by the team.

What a great competition the RL50 is these days - lights touchpaper and retires to a safe distance. 😂😂

He was supposed to be with us for the whole of the RL50 , so maybe injured ?
  • Just home from a great day at the Spitfire Ground !

What a rollercoaster it was with so many ups & downs it would even make a Charlton fan squiffy !

Too many to mention, but hats off to ALL our lads in keeping their cool, especially when we were batting & after a dodgy start.

The 2 "new" Harry's were brilliant & paved the way at the death for a fantastic result. Talk about keeping everyone awake, even Mr F didn't doze in that lovely sunshine !

Jasper, the family's cavachon was an absolute start. So proud of him over the 7+ hours we were there.

However, sadly, Leicester is too far to drag him to on Friday so looks like we'll have to watch via the stream.

Hope those that can go will be able to get tickets easily & will cheer our boys on to another victory .

Saini was meant to be with us but in the preview to this match it said that "Saini has completed his stint as a Kent Spitfire" which is somewhat ambiguous. As for Linde, the news has moved from previous previews in which it was stated that "George Linde is managing an a knee injury & is expected to be fit for South Africa’s domestic season" to "George Linde (knee) remains ruled out". Not that I think we really need him.

Saini has been quite disappointing in the Royal London anyway. Maybe he's a better red ball bowler
