And that’s just for his starter!0

Good luck to Gilbey. Seemed a decent fella, just didn't work out here. He should be too good for L2 and do well there imo.16

They are welcome to him.Callumcafc said:8 -
I'm pleased we're saving on some of Gilbey's wages and hope we don't need him back in January.
I hope he finds success at Stevenage.18 -
Me to but how much of his wages are Stevenage realistically paying? Its not like we need the squad space to bring someone in.AFKABartram said:Hopefully this kick starts more movement0 -

I reckon the recall is to see if we can sell him in January.Cafc43v3r said:Gilbey gone!
Loan to Stevenage but it's not all bad news we have a recall option in January.
Cawley still suggesting DJ, JFC and MacGillivray have "interest".2 -
Gilbey wasn’t at training today

It’s good news for us, if it allows movement in but I don’t wish him anything but success and I really believe we never got to see the true Gilbey.44

Wonder if Macca is thinking about Wollacott going to the World Cup, so feels there is an opportunity to try and prove he deserves a chance come two games in November / December.Swisdom said:Gilbey wasn’t at training today

So wants to stay for that reason.0 -
Also, best of luck to Gilbey. I don't think we saw him at his best. It's worth remembering he got Covid in pre-season last year and he said it really messed with him. I think he's too good for League Two but probably not quite good enough for where we're hoping to be in League One. He always worked hard, I just don't think he was quite good enough. Best of luck to him.6

Stevenage aren't paying any of Gilbey's wages but they've agreed to lose in the league cup22

Quite liked Gilbey, but he didnt really fit Garnerball and we are surplus to requirements in midfield.2

Wouldn’t know where to find lols and not interested but if I’m sure whatever MS has said last night wasn’t a case of loose lips - what’s wrong with him chatting to fans about transfers ? Different if names were mentioned before deals completedeaststandmike said:
Well you completely missed the point I was making but you gained five lols from it so not a complete waste of a postDOUCHER said:

Especially when so many on here give Thomas credit for "keeping his cards close to his chest" and "playing poker with the agents" when he plays things down in SLP interviews.ISawLeaburnScore said:Surely Martin Sandgaard isn't going around freely dropping all that info including which clubs are in for who and how much money it would take.
Great to have open engagement on a high level basis but again where is the awareness of the line?
Laughable0 -
He's not being paid in cash by Stevenage, but instead is being given the Nectar points from Steve Evans's weekly shopPelling1993 said:Stevenage aren't paying any of Gilbey's wages but they've agreed to lose in the league cup3 -
Gilbey is no longer a rumour. He's moved. No more comments. Get over it.
Every now again you need to bring out your inner Doucher!6 -
