I am going to this and have some questions. Seen every game this season, mostly live, a couple of CATV when on a cruise ship, so have a good sense of what I really want to get into. Players and system, high press fatigue, disciplinary record, weight on youngsters shoulders just some of the areas I would like to cover.4

"We have a long list of questions Ben, many covering the same areas, so I will start with some of the main ones.
What did you think of the Royal Funeral?...
How do you think Tony Adams will do on Strictly Come Dancing?...
Where do you stand on the Golf LIV tour?...
One final question on the transfer window, and the lack of a new striker or left back, oh sorry, it seems we're out of time as the cleaners have to start preparing for the YouTubers event this weekend."7 -
Is this tonight?
Any updates?0 -
60+ here. BG talked about the forward: someone Mbape-like would be ideal.
(Edit: around 100 attending probably)3 -

Shocking news
John de Souza leaving!
Garner speaks very well as we know.
Scott is very Scottish
Hayes is, as you expect with that name is articulate and intelligent
We train Monday to Friday and don't have Wednesdays off like most clubs.
It's a bit too slick for me and not as good as Bromley Addicks.16 -

Is De Souza going to be replaced?
(or is he being laid off because the chairman shouldn't be signing coaches and he's not needed?)0 -
All pre-prepared questions and answers which took much of the interest away for me.
One question around Europe in 10 years which was rightly laughed at.
Otherwise my only other observation was when asked what they knew about Charlton none of them could muster much more than "massive club, massive fan base, massive potential". Have any of them been to the museum? Huge error if not. Our history is one of the few things that differentiates us and whilst I know the PL/Di Canio days are a thing of the past, for me it showed the gulf of class/ quality since Alan Curbishley days.6 - Sponsored links:

For me it was good to see the club hosting events like this again and they should do more of them.
All the questions were from fans and reasonable questions in themselves but there wasn't any follow up to the answers so we don't know why de Souza is leaving because it wasn't followed up
Chuks is out running on grass and Sessegnon is available for Saturday.
BG said we had three full backs, wanted four then two got injured which disrupted us.
Ben said he wanted another striker but no guarantees we'll get one in January (Golfie, please don't start, it's boring) but he met with the scouting team today, they are working on names and he'll keep knocking on the door (presumably TS's) asking.9 -

" Who's there ? "
" Ben "
" Not that feckin Museum bloke again ! "
" No, the gaffer...."
" Oh, come on in, Raelynn !"

Hard not to be critical when you help run the best supporters group but I wouldn't have had three guests and wouldn't have asked all three the same question as that took too long and added little.
But the questions were asked in a professional way. Just felt like we were working through them rather than responding to the responses.
But it wasn't the stage managed, no criticism, putin style event some were claiming it would be beforehand.
Thought there was a lot more than 60 there, closer to 100 but I wasn't counting.
Free food at the end too.
One thing seems sure, BG believes in his style of play and is going to stick with it.
Scott = defence, de Souza = midfield, Hayes = attack and set pieces.

Our set pieces have been appalling this year. Think Ben needs to reassess this if things don't improve.3 -

Before Hayes could respond Garner said "scored two, conceded one"
AH agreed it was an area we needed to improve though.
This was another example of the lack of a follow-up question.
Clearly if we've only conceded once they aren't all terrible but we're not scoring enough full stop, not just from set pieces.3 -

She did suggest the coaches visit the museum so obviously a smart person.3 -

She was professional, but when she said I've learnt quite a bit about football tonight, a little bit of me was, well I don't know but I think many will know what I'm saying / not saying.3
