I’ve seen milk turn quicker than Lavelle, shouldn’t even be out there after last week 😡

Garner’s not got a clue has he.

Is the resulting opinion of every manager we've had
It's almost like the managers are not the problem.
Although picking a back 3 of Lavelle, Innis and O'Connell is asking for trouble
No one else to go in the three today by the look of it.

Then don't play it is the simple answer. It barely works when we use Clare there let alone Lavelle.

Our midfield is awful and I'd give jfc a go at this stage

Dobson's passing is poor so far. Fraser is barely involved at all.

Payne is working hard. Egbo and Sessegnon look fine.

''It's almost like the managers are not the problem''

But don't they pick the players and choose the signings (eg Swindon rejects)!

Probably Garner was the cheapest option!

Laughable if you think Garner was happy with this squad come the first day of the season.

His Swindon players would have been squad fillers, not starters.
Garner isn’t the problem IMO but he knew what he was getting himself into when he joined .

Was that not the Browne that was on trial for us and TS did not want to pay his wages so he went to Oxford? Looks a decent player

Thomas has a record for making promises that he cannot keep.

Dont think he was on trial as Oxford got him from Middlesbrough, he was linked but we decided not to sign him as he'd recently had an ACL issue.

Really boring - no passion, no skill, no tactics, no pattern.

Even if we wangle anything out of this game, it’s pathetic.

  • No urgency no fight no leadership just like in previous seasons under the last 3 managers we basically are a poorly run shit club in a big empty stadium
  • At last, a decent cross by Egbo, well defended

Great ball from Egbo to Stockley - Moore just got there first.

To be fair Oxford look shit
  • Watching their goal on replay again, every one of our defenders is facing the goal as it goes in.  Shocking defending, 5 defensive players in the pitch (6 if you include Dobson) and not one could think to move towards the attacker and close down.

    Christ.

Good idea, could do with some divine intervention 😉

Nice ball in, first decent move, Stockley nearly got his head to it.

Another 10 minutes and we might be up to speed at last.

What does it say about us then.

Even the weak effort from their No.18 looked as though it was going to trickle in

FFS Dobson... So much space and he whips it out for a GK.
