Not Russell crashing into someone again.... 🙄3
-
Yeah…. So Russell.
don’t think he can complain with that decision!
Its becoming a regular occurrence3 -
Bit like last year.. Russell's performances drop the further we get into the season0
-
And a 5 second penalty, hardly a penalty compared to being punted out the race, right?2

On another note, why hasnt Perez been called in to replace his front wing? - Haas have been forced to pit Magnussen in recent races for the same issue1

Lewis got a problem? Just shit the bed0
-
Lewis aint gonna hold on is he - Hoping that Verstappen's fight with Leclerc cooked his mediums, but looks like it only killed the Ferrari's tyres0
-
Fuck off with your bitching now Verstappen!!1
-
Well that was fun!0
-
Great race0

That Vettel tussle at the end was the best bit4

Alonso lost his points after a successful appeal from Haas about his unsafe car, when he lost his right mirror. They also protested Perez's Red Bull, but as the endplate fell off and the rest of the wing was structurally sound, they ruled it wasn't unsafe.

Good Race, Lewis a bit desperate at the end trying to get Max a penalty. i am no exactly a Max fan but screams desperation. A shame, but hopefully Lewis still doesn't blank the season, although Max and Redbull look far too quick still.0

The fact the engine freeze came in when Honda made a big step forward in their engine surpassing both the Mercedes’ and Ferrari power units have really been an overlooked factor in regards to how important it has been to red bull abd his the other teams can’t bridge that gap.1

FWIW, Mercedes seemed to have taken a wrong turn going down the no sidepods route, and have been scrabbling ever since to work around that, and Ferrari have the best 1 lap car in the field, but can't keep it on the road long enough to actually be a threat.
Hopefully next season Ferrari pull a strategic genius out of their arse and Mercedes refine their design/chuck it in the sea and start again, and we have a proper 3 way battle at the top again1 -
Sounds like Mercedes worked out their problems early on, but found it impossible to bridge the gap with their Upgrades because Red Bull | Ferrari were able to make upgrades themselves, so for the most part has kept those two on the front footing.

Right decision (for a change). Alonso keeps the points: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/634208950

I'm fine with that punishment. The car development time loss is a huge penalty that even with the greatest technical mind in the history of the sport , I think that puts Mercedes and Ferrari right back in play.
What interests me having now read the whole thing and same with Aston's breach, seems to be a lot of it surrounding tax . Is this a misunderstanding of the UK tax system or is this some initial cap vaguries?0 -
Not so sure... Given Ross Brawn's original comments - But then the FIA were never gonna have the balls to do that - Just hope its enough of a deterrent to stop other teams from doing it in the future0
