agreed, exactly the point of VAR and like you say a quick easy decision is how it should be used
Struggling to keep interest with this tournament at the moment. All the play feels so slow. Bring on the knockouts when teams have to go for it.
Japan rather spoilt tonight's game by losing earlier. If they had won, then Germany would have needed the win tonight to stay in, and would have had to go for it
Spain look like they are trying to play like the great team of 5-10 years ago. But the players aren’t Iniesta, Xavi etc
I think one thing we are seeing is even the best teams at the moment are so one dimensional that when it works they look brilliant when it doesn't they look average.
