You think Aneke would miss 4 big chances ?0 -
They talk about the tackle, but the way Lukaku has been playing... Was he really gonna score0
-
Lukaku played like Benteke today0
-
Belgium are OUT
Lukaku distraught.0 -
Bye Belgium... Lukaku, Meire, Roland, Tin Tin, Asterix and Obilex... Your boys have taken a hell of a beating this Tournament5
-
The World Cup. Is there anything quite like it?2
-
Great job from Morocco... RO16 is looking a bit flat but love to see a few unexpected teams through0
-
Also means Morocco not Croatia or Belgium go into our half of the draw3

Croatia and Poland have both looked poor...1

Morocco join the bottom half of the knockout bracket with England, France, Senegal and Poland.
Croatia, as runners up, join Netherlands, Argentina, USA and Australia in the top half.

Lukaku is going to be a massive scapegoat here, i know it was criminal the 4 (FOUR) chances he hasn't taken. However before he came on, they had barely half chances and looked rubbish, i hope he isn't going to be hung up to dry by the media as at least he got in the right areas and made Belgium look better, not that is very hard judging on this tournament.5

31 minutes since August is mitigation and who said Lukaka didn't have punch !0

I don't care how much you've been out of the game injured, as a striker that chance where he just chests it back to goalie should of been in. No excuses. Though those in the studio keep giving him them.1
-
I know its pretty much un-defendable, however i will try. You try playing footy when you haven't got the fitness, everything becomes 10x/20x as hard. Of course you expect a striker to finish, regardless but if they're lacking fitness, it can be a massive impact, heavy legs, lack of confience.Karim_myBagheri said:I don't care how much you've been out of the game injured, as a striker that chance where he just chests it back to goalie should of been in. You are right in one respect, but its not as simple as put the ball in the goal sometimes.1 -
Martinez has been too loyal to the older players
All this talk about their past service - Counts for nothing when Football constantly moves forward - Look at the youth of Spain... France... England
Even Germany learnt that the hard way after four years ago0 -
Morocco will be hoping Germany stuff it up tonight.1

na, i get what you're saying but that miss and several others for a player of his level is pretty appalling. Though he shouldn't become a scapegoat. 3 games with him only playing half an hour. Its the other players fault.0 -

No doubt his lawyer, well known in this parish, has already negotiated the terms. He lost any dignity when he got into bed with Farnell IMOForeverAddickted said:

Hard to see Germany and Spain not winning tonight. Japan will be cursing not beating Costa Rica, that result threw Germany a lifeline, which I'm sure they'll take.0
-
Definitely think he'd get a Premier League job too, Palace, Fulham, Southampton level.Lincsaddick said:
