After 59 years, yes, fifty nine fucking years, sixty three away grounds and many thousands of pounds spent following Charlton, I can't bring myself to admit that this is my club.

Don't hide behind the injured players excuse. One or two of the youngsters have acquitted themselves well but we shouldn't be in the position of having to play them so early in their careers. That is down to you and your sewn up pockets.
Cut your losses. Sell up. Keep practicing your guitar because your not good enough to make a living from that either.

Hayes, at no point tonight did we have our best 11 players on the field at the same time….. ! Why would you do that….. ?Surely, in a game like this you start our strongest 11 and go out to get in front and subdue them. Why were Rak Saki and CBT not starters ? Set off this morning about 11.30am. Got to Euston to be met with the news of train cancellations and therefore what should have been a 2 hour journey turned into a 5 hour one via Sheffield.That ground was absolutely freezing. And there was absolutely nothing to get the blood pumping after we went 1-0 up.No creativity, no commitment. Nothing.
Walked out with a few minutes remaining with the chants of “Can we play you every week?” and “Charlton get battered everywhere they go” ringing through the ears.
Embarrassing.

I watched Portugal last night so I sort of expected to have something short of that display but my word that was painful watching.

The bit I have been hammered on the most was the better under Roland line, but seems more and more are now agreeing with it.
Roland never had teams as shit as this (JBG, Texeira, Ben Haim, Taylor, Bielik ….. all another level).Someone nailed it when they said he was a Cnut but we now have someone who is the same but with more ‘stupid’ thrown in as part of the bargain.5
