    So about 30-35 million spent?
No - maximum £16m net to September. As far as I can tell everything is in that envelope, e.g. the loan of £12m to CAFC Ltd is funded by the loan to Clear Ocean Capital.

He will have “spent” more of course because there is income.
And the money he lodged with the EFL he will want that back ..
    It's the same money....

Rumours on other site rd, ts have accepted a bid from a group to buy club awaiting for efl to approve takeover
    Hearing the same.
Also that negotiations for sale of The Valley & Sparrows Lane are to take place with Duchatalet’s son.
I heard that Roddy had agreed to sell all the Duchatelet's footballing assets to "Arabs".
  • I have been told where the buyers are from…..but no names.
I think it’s best to keep schtum about that for now.
I heard all this earlier this afternoon but didn’t have the bottle to announce it. 😉
    German owners. Interesting.
Schtum is Yiddish, so must be a rich Jewish owner. Zuckerberg, Soros or maybe Alan Sugar

Was confused as to how Ged Roddy had got so much influence in Belgium…

    Roddy = Roderick Duchatelet 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

    OK.
Anybody else want to guess what the whole kit and caboodle might cost?
I reckon £1.6m but if the kit is bought from the Castore store that will go up to £3.6m

Please excuse my ignorance but why is approval required from 'the EPL'?
    Does he mean the EFL?
I'd ask him myself but I am banned.

Been here too many times to get excited. But if true kudos to Sandgaard for not hanging around, given it half a season to see if his plan would work and decided enough is enough

People saying on Facebook the mystery bidder is Red Bull (which is probably is a load of bull) but would be interested in peoples thoughts on this now after everything as gone on in recent years, I think would have the opinion of things cant be any worse than they have been so why not?

More like he realised nobody cared about his guitar playing and that there was nothing in it for him anymore other than a shed load debt and costs, so did what most sane people in his position would have done a long time ago :)

Don't believe it. Why would he pay off BG?

Absolutely no chance Red Bull would buy into English football with their love for rebranding everything.

Would not be too surprised if the new owners owned other teams though.

Hopefully no one misinterprets their 'Seagulls" chant like that mirror journo at Millwall in the 90s!

It wouldn’t surprise me if he got rid of BG to save he’s own ego, he loves himself so much he would pay up at any cost to save face. Tosser!!!!!

After last night's debacle it seems fairly likely that Brighton will humiliate us. I imagine the away support will outnumber the home support.

    Won't be pleasant viewing.
    Sorry, you're talking rot.
The home support will be roughly double the away support.

Common assumption that getting rid involves paying off. You remember how long the contract agreement took? Not one knows what KPIs, breakpoints etc were agreed. It could well be a very low cost / no cost decision and may explain why Sandgaard got rid when he did.

I could be completely wrong though. One thing I am convinced of is that sacking Garner now would not have been a massive overhead for Sandgaard like the common ‘paying up of contracts’ of yesteryear

I was really comparing this to Roland dragging out a sale for 2/3 years, a quick resolution is welcomed
