If we go through tonight I'd rather be playing Portugal than these boys.
  • I did not realise that @ricky_otto managed Morocco.

France will be counting their chickens
  • I still can’t help but think we are about to watch the World Cup Final tonight

There might not be a bigger chance to win the World Cup for us now, arguably the hardest game left is tonight
Maybe. But I’m not sure any team has presented a stiffer challenge to their opponents, so far, than Morocco.

The differences for them in the next round, whether they play France or England, are 1) how much do they have left in tank, 2) both England and France have fantastic options off the bench to add fresh legs late on if Morocco start to tire.

Was going to post a photo of El Karkouri but as it's already been done I'm left with this...

Likely Ronaldo’s last ever World Cup appearance. Messi’s just around the corner. End of an era.

  • Bald bearded managers are clearly the way to go

    Morocco, Man City, Charlton
  • One thing for sure, you don’t want to go behind vs Morocco. Their semi final opponents must score first.
  • What. A. Result.

Morocco were fantastic but that’s about 4 of their first team injured now.

    Ridiculous opportunity.

So semi final teams will be two from Europe, one from South America and one from Africa. It really is a world cup!

Well done Mar richly deserved !

Ronaldo at the end showing what a cretin of a human being he is. He may have been a talented footballer but he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as footballing greats as his attitude stinks and he is a cheat on top of that

What are our four predictions for the Semi-Finals then?

    Argentina | Croatia | England | Morocco?
Yup... England gonna fuck up my prediction - So glad I didnt put money on this!!

Don't lose your bottle now FA!

They laughed at your tips; they are not laughing now.
  • Stupid yellows by Cheddira. He’ll be kicking himself when he’s missing the semi-final.

Three quarter finals and three games that will live long in the memory. I’d go as far as saying iconic, particularly in the case of Argentina vs Netherlands and Morocco vs Portugal.
  • Talk em up as much as you want , beat  France and we’re in the final

Never seen a better World Cup for absolute chaos, and so far we just gone quietly about our business.

All three games have been tight affairs with not a ton of quality football on show. They could easily have been quite dull, but the timing of the goals and the way the matches subsequently played out has been tremendous drama.

Perhaps tonight’s match is where the quality will shine though. Hopefully it’s mostly England’s.

So far they’ve been the best set of WC quarter final matches I can remember.
