    Strange this Walton stuff. Is there really a debate whether it’s a penalty? It was pretty cut and dry. Keeper took the player and didn’t get any of the ball. I would imagine it’s only a point of debate in the U.K.

    Are people only up in arms because Argentina benefits?

    Its a tough one.

    See where the panel are coming from, he's the Goalkeeper he cant just get out of the way.

    But equally he's come off his line to get the ball, so he has to win it - It does feel like he plants his feet, because he knows whats going to happen, so tries to make it look as though the Argentinian is running into him.

    If he had stayed on his line, and they ran into each other, then I'd argue no penalty

    I think the Goalkeeper has tried to look clever, and its not worked.

    It was a penalty.  It shouldn't be.  That's a different argument.

    It's like the off sides.  Yes it's off side but if a human can't give it off it should be on.

    Agreed he has been very good, which just shows that Messi is on another planet.

    Quite surprised at 3-0 up they haven't taken him off. Imagine if he got injured now.
