    Annoys me how scared they are to shoot though, and keep trying to get another pass in. 

    Qatari ref had a shocker in 2nd half but not as bad as the VAR officials

    Third place play-off = first match I have completely missed. This is because it's the only match of no meaning at all.

    This third and fourth place playoff meant more to these two teams than if it has been France and Argentina contesting it.

    If Croatia and Morocco each get 4 players sent off today, the game is unable to be completed, the result is nul and void. If the same happens in the final, the trophy goes to the quarter finalist with the best disciplinary record!

    THAT HAPPENS TO BE ENGLAND.

    We were only 8 red cards away from winning the world cup!!

     we played 3rd place play off in the last world cup. Didn't watch it and actually had to look it up online to see what the score was 

    we lost 2 nil to Belgium

    Same here 1990 game was in Bari.....I didn't even watch the 2018 one.

    Depends what airline you’re flying but some have live sport on the inflight entertainment system. Or you might get decent WiFi and be able to watch on iPlayer (with a VPN)

    I imagine the 3rd place playoff means more if you've never won the World Cup, as it's your country's greatest ever finish.

    In the 6 world cups they could have qualified for Croatia have come 3rd twice.  They have been in as many semi finals and finals as England have.

    It's really remarkable.

    I have to say, I've enjoyed this World Cup a lot.

    While I hated it being in Qatar, and it being plonked in the middle of the season, it has produced some really good football, and being in December, a perfect excuse to stay inside in front of the TV! Injuries robbed the WC of a few players, but those that were there were fitter than they would have been in June.

    I don't trust the fifa bald bloke. He likes the cameras, wants attention and is displaying some bs enthusiasm

    If you're gana get all touchy feely with Lionel Messi then it is strange and just disrespectful. You're not on the same wavelength.

    It seems they might reverse the bizarre decision to go to 3 team groups, after the excitement of the final group games this time
