The drummers deserve their place at OT. They've kept going through some right dross this season.
    Agreed

Hopefully with all this interest it will bring a few back to the Valley for Saturday
  • Does anyone know, with the circa 10,000 if we basically have the whole end lower and upper tier?

Can I request to collect my tickets from Old Trafford?

You must collect your tickets from The Valley in advance of Tuesday’s cup tie at the aforementioned timings. If you are unable to make it to The Valley before Monday’s 5pm deadline, please contact the Ticket Office by calling 03330 14 44 44 during Ticket Office opening hours.

  • So looking forward to this . 41/2 hours in the car there and same to get back. Won’t drink of course but not bothered. It certainly isn’t the expectation of a win or draw ; it’s all that being together with Charlton fans singing loud and proud at Old Trafford that is so enticing. Remember the time before last at Fulham when we had all of the away end (about 7000 ) Think we got beat 4-0 but it didn’t matter. Least not to me. We got thoroughly outplayed but no, it was about placing my flag…our flag and giving a good account of ourselves as a club not just as fans. Let’s all do this club proud.
The circumstances were slightly different in that Fulham match, in that we were riding high in L1 under SCP and had a promotion chasing side to support, plus decent (so we thought) owners. That game was a cherry on the cake, whereas this season the Man U game is a cherry on the turd  :D

I ticked ‘in post’  today and my confirmation didn’t say to pick them up - is it where the above poster lives that’s the problem ?

Since when have people had a problem with the drummer? As someone else said, they’ve done their miles and created atmosphere at Accrington Morecambe and Shrewsbury. Hope they can take it.
Like every away ground it’s on the discretion of the home team

    Thanks, ricky.

At least I'm in good company !
  • After everything I think it’s fair to say broadly anyone who wanted a ticket will have been able to get one. As people predicted. Which is a great thing.

There’s a dodge around it Fanny, go on the ticket site and go through the motions of buying a home ticket for say Barnsley. Select your seat anywhere and go as far as paying at checkout then it should let you sign in but don’t put any card details in. Delete the ticket from your basket but stay logged in and go to your profile and then click on tickets. Good luck.

    Good.
Seems like a common sense decision to let us collect tomorrow.
