how annoying, only options now are to pick up from valley or get tickets by post - coming from Cornwall need to pick up at Manchester. Can't get through to ticket office by phone. Grrr.
When I phoned this morning to check on ID requirements for multiple order pick ups (in yesterday's details - NOT required, only transaction ID) and also checked about pick up because Saturday and Monday were going to be difficult, I was told it would be possible to pick up at OT if you couldn't get to the Valley.  Also given heavy hint that pick up tomorrow may be available.  Club just announced that Friday pick up is now going ahead.
Hi @CatAddick can you clarify that? Do we just need to take the email received to collect the tickets?
Yes.  I was told you needed transaction number NOT personal ID so you could pick up multiple orders (I'm also assuming you would need name and I'm also taking list if fan ID numbers too - ie copy of confirmation email :-)

Going to set up the projector at home for this now as can't get childcare in the evening or off work after agreeing to go into the office on the Tuesday after seeing I'd missed tickets.

I really hate my hastiness to respond to managers (at both work and home) at times.

order by post and if they don't come let them know you haven't received them on Monday and they will arrange for duplicates for collection at OT.
Much appreciated. Tickets bought and the ticket office have confirmed what you said.

there goes all the talk of not selling our allocation .. what fan (except for me lol) is going to pass up the chance to visit Old Trafford, perhaps a once in a lifetime chance to see us play there ?
Guess plenty have been up there before.

    @Lincsaddick or Old Trafford?
  • Charlton fans:  Masochists?  The evidence is still coming in, but the outcome seems certain.

Missed that one, it was the start of the season and I was in Ibiza.....only time I saw us avoid defeat was the 0-0 (can't recall the season) think it was Costa's last game for us....he had a good game that day.

Ticket arrived this morning. Made up, as they say in Manchester.
Was last at OT in the eighties. All I remember was half the crowd chanting non stop at the away fans, rather than watching the game.
Last time I stopped in Manchester was to change trains for an away match at Rochdale or somewhere. There were loads of people crashed on on the pavements around Piccadilly. Spice, apparently.

Fair play to those of you that predicted this. I am staggered that we will be taking c9000 to Manchester for a midweek game in January.

I don't care about the result (well not overly). The chance to sing for 90 minutes with an away following of 9,000 fellow inmates is what I'm looking forward to the most.
    Indeed, Bob.

But should you be within range of a male Addick whose partner is nudging him NOT to song....that'll be the Fanackapans.

    Mr F is tone deaf.

Ha! l was going to pipe up that the rare occasion we take 3k away we seem to find it impossible to sing in unison (or even the same song at the same time), so 9k odd should be a laugh!

40,000 at Wembley kept reasonable time - but then again I freely admit I was very, very drunk.

Had the drum at Wembley which helps a lot with that. Not sure if Old Trafford will allow it in as some grounds are a bit funny about it I think

So looking forward to this . 41/2 hours in the car there and same to get back. Won’t drink of course but not bothered. It certainly isn’t the expectation of a win or draw ; it’s all that being together with Charlton fans singing loud and proud at Old Trafford that is so enticing. Remember the time before last at Fulham when we had all of the away end (about 7000 ) Think we got beat 4-0 but it didn’t matter. Least not to me. We got thoroughly outplayed but no, it was about placing my flag…our flag and giving a good account of ourselves as a club not just as fans. Let’s all do this club proud.
