But if i remember rightly the atmosphere was good up to and especially including half time, but with 10 men they came out and scored practically from the restart and we were never in it after that, so the atmosphere from us died off.0 -

One of our regular group is an arsenal fan but has been doing matches with us for 10 years it’s cheaper and goes with mates instead of 80 quid a ticket and no one to go with.cs1986 said:

I think there was a bit of tension whilst it was 0-0 in 94. We got all excited at half time after the sending off and got shut up by Hughes soon after. What I recall most, having travelled on a coach was there were as many Man Utd fans travelling up on coaches as Charlton fans.charltonbob said:

It prevents singing & if you want to sing you're pretty much limited to the drummer's choice.
With the drum there these are more likely to get interrupted with "BANG BANG - RED ARMY" or "C A F C...." etc or some of the more banal Palace/Euro style chants.

Valley Floyd Road is I believe in 3/4 (waltz, boom pah pah,) time, but the drummer has never sussed this. If they did they could possibly stop it being sung so fast.2
