    Just hope we get Edun now as well - Kane can be Egbo's cover the latter can focus on getting fit for next season - Its providing support for Sessegnon that we need now, so that Chin can either go back to the U21s or out on loan.

    Was a winger in his youth as well.  Plus a set piece specialist so that gives us a right footed option as well now.

    Good signing. Provides depth across the backline. He probably comes in to replace Egbo to start given Egbo sounds like he's some ways away. I hope we also bring in a left footed LB as well. But we needed quality and depth at the back, and Kane provides that.

    It's not a sexy signing, he's a journeyman fullback, but having him stepping in at FB instead of Chin makes a huge difference. It's the kind of established depth we haven't had in recent seasons, instead having the likes of Castillo and Suoare.

    Been playing fairly consistently (prior to this season) at Championship level so unless he's seriously fallen off a cliff he's good enough.

    Gets stuck in & once got fined £6k & banned for 7 games for giving an opponent abuse.

    Should liven things up.

    He’ll make Innis look like a calm collected player by the sounds of things! A similar character to the last Todd we had at the club by all accounts. Very Andy Todd / Simon Walton I think.

    Am I right in feeling that this is more like a Gallen/Holden signing then a Black Box/Sandgaard one?

    I think you could make the case that he's now the best fullback at the club. Consistently played at a higher level. I would probably give Sess the edge over him, but he should provide quality and more importantly consistency at RB that we haven't really had this season.

    We've been after him before I believe, so likely Gallen.

    I’d play Sess in midfield… Kane RB…… Edun LB...

    Thought at Man Utd a midfield 3 of Sess, Dobson and Fraser would be handy.

    Don’t have a problem with that as long as he’s more consistent in finding a team mate than Clare is with his crosses 😉.
