Derby Comms: "Charlton are here for the taking, but you know with a team like Charlton, that they only need one chance"
    Or ten
  • Derby have come out firing this second half.

Clare gets ran at, with their player getting wide into the area, but his effort goes harmlessly over

Let's be honest- I think bonne is hopeless.

But playing this system with just a lone striker would make anyone look bad. Leaburn is our only forward who can play this role. We need someone up close to Bonne to have any threat up front.
And who do you take out to give them that support?

The two wingers are only goal threat and we already get over run with 3 in midfield.
You take out CBT, drop JRS to midfield, put in Aneke and play 442.
  • Dean needs to get Innis on for Hector, he has had an ok first half but on a yellow at the moment, and we don't need to risk a second..
While he is at it get Chuks on for Bonne..

    SHOT ON TARGET KLAXON

Fraser strikes from inside the area, Wildsmith makes the save, with the ball going through JRS and someone else before they can swipe at the ball, and potentially equalise

Bit sloppy from the two in the middle who werent ready to react

49' Fraser hits one. Blackett-Taylor lays the ball off to Scotty, whose low drive forces Wildsmith into action.

Great forward pass from Morgan to Bonne.

Unfortunately their keeper throws a diving header at it

Plus Bonne was running through treacle by the looks of things

Bet the 'keeper was a bit annoyed with himself, for panicking himself into action so much ;)

Fair point. But it sure as heck isn't working today.

We are SOOO SLOW, and couldn't catch a cold at the moment, tippy tappy stuff in our half could be our undoing, having said that this ref is letting a lot go from Derby

Another good bit of play. Rak-Leko chops his man down after some good interplay between Rak, Bonne and Morgan.

I would be tempted to go 3-5-2. Bring CBT off and Penney on, shift Clare to RCB and Sess to RWB. Bonne and JRS up front. We'd hopefully be more solid and compact.
    Penney, you sure?
    It wouldn't be ideal.
  • At last stream working properly.

Who would be the other wide midfielder?

Which ever way you shuffle this squad your weak somewhere. Every time you try and reinforce one weakness you create another one.

Rak-Leko is a bit unnecessary isn't it given how much better than Leko he is.

No. It's a joke that comes out when he's having a more Leko esque game.

Leko in his first season with us was easily the player Rak-BacknSak is this season.
