if we want to talk about numbers ya know...
If you want to talk numbers Revolution had 8,000 paid in a 20k arena. With about 150k PPV buys world wide.
Without know anything about the card, is it going to have NJPW and basically anyone that isn't signed for WWE on it? Or the ticket pricing, any guess at attendance is a bit futile at the moment but to do the biggest stadium possible for your first ever show in a market is interesting. There is often a fine line between insanity amd genius.
Time will tell if this rivals Wrestlemania 3 or clash of the champions 6. Probably somewhere in the middle.

What's the NFL viewing figures in the UK? Pretty sure they do ok when they turn up here. Using viewing figures to predict an event is stupid.
We will see when it comes to the event.

Viewing figures were just to see how popular it is here. I expect only a small percentage of the population know what AEW is. 40k may happen but it won't come easy, it's a gigantic step into the unknown for them.0 -

Interesting that the RAW branded house show in Manchester at the end of the month has sold out, tickets weren't cheap and I haven't seen it advertised anywhere at all. That's a 20k seat arena. I assume Birmingham the night before is sold out as well?
Plenty of tickets left to see Will Ospreay in the Doncaster Dome the week before though (capacity 1,200).1 -

In short no idea at all, I don't think anyone would actually know.0 -
I've hardly ever watched Raw live but i watch Raw every week, so viewing figures are hard to judge.
That said, as a casual fan of AEW, hiring Wembley stadium for their first UK show seems mental to me. I'm not sure they'll get anywhere close to filling it. Time will tell

Comparing football crowds in the UK to wrestling crowds is obviously like comparing apples to bananas, but I'm pretty sure WWE used to get better ratings than some of the live games on Sky Sports.
According to Wikipedia (!) Dynamite has TV deals in Germany, Italy, France and Spain. It did have TV deals in Romania and Poland and can be seen on DAZN in Portugal, Sweden, Poland, Turkey, Romania and Czech Republic. No idea of the numbers, as if recordings don't count ratings are even more meaningless but that's more than I expected.0 -
Recordings watched within 7 days of broadcast count towards the consolidated viewing figures1

One thing I have noticed that surprised me is the number of American's that think Ospreay is a household name and a massive star in the UK.0

Loved the Trish turn on Raw. Was all set up for a boring Becky turn again then swerve~!

It's a phenomenal number regardless. I have a feeling they've done it to gauge the interest and therefore the ticket prices. I've signed up but if it's expensive I'll be giving it a miss, and I don't mean WWE expensive.

I get my wrestling updates from bleacher report and they have almost every segment top ratings from Raw last night. Sounds like one of the better Monday Night Raws for a while.0

The rumour of CM Punk’s return is gathering pace.
Being reported that it could be June 17th at the United Center in Chicago. Would coincide with the first episode of the new Saturday show AEW are planing.0 -
They need to cut their loses and get rid of him. As Seth said he's a cancer. However, Tony seems to utterly mental so i'll take the rumours seriously.1
