So at least they had an excuse
Still remember being one of the few who cheered when we made it 1-3 right on HT, thinking we'd make a comeback in the second half0 -
Losing 6-0 in L1 is pretty shocking - hard to feel any optimism for next season.

Hard to believe you would tell players they were being let go at this point - wouldn’t you wait until you’d finished all your matches?0

Innis has the worst disciplinary record in the top four leagues of English football.* Double anyone else.
Red Cards
Innis - 4
Casemiro - 2
Kamara - 2
Osho - 2
Platt - 2
Khan - 2
* Presume it is much worse than that, but can't find individual stats for National League and below. But note that no team in the National League has above four cards as an entire squad, while Innis has four to himself.
Ahhh ehhh whatever. Bet Holden puts him straight back in the side when he's availableYour love for Innis is bizarre. Have you hit your heard or something?3 -

Someone with money is even bankrolling Millwall. Is there really nobody out there??3 -

That it for me. I’m now going to go on holiday and will not watch Cheltenham match. Take that you rotters! 🥸1

Season has been dead since losing at Man Utd. I'm amazed so many fans make the effort for these away games. Mind you, I did similar back in the 80s I guess, though there was generally a relegation battle to be fought (with an occasional promotion race or dead rubber thrown in).3

I'd like to see us bring in people who provide competition for first-team places rather than just make up the numbers.5 -
The Osprey are back in Poole Harbour. Most on migratory stopover heading further north.
But the pair that bred in the Harbour last year, the first for 200 years, are back and are mating and nest building and first egg due soon.
Oh, and Trains!
The first timetabled service between Wareham and Swanage since 1973 has started.
Thanks in most part to the Swanage Steam Railway Company who have been campaigning and restoring the line for years, having started with a mere one mile of track when I moved to the area back in 1987.
I refuse to be negative.5 -

Otherwise I'm sure there would be.0 -

My problem with Inniss is in his first season he was a major offensive option for us on set pieces and whilst he can sometimes still be, the overall effect has diminished. Yes, he has stayed fit, which is a big positive, but he seems more rigid in his play when he was pretty static to start with. Also, he wins headers so that is good but he is technically not a good headerer of the ball. I think he is in a similar category to Morgan though, probably worth a contract at the right wage but shouldn't be starting.1 -
esseffect said:Nicholas said:And some of you want Morgan, bonne and innis to sign contracts. Fucking numptiesHe’s not alone obviously. We have perhaps the makings of a spine of the team in AMB, Ness, Dobson & Leaburn, with a very good prospect in Mitchell as well. Despite yesterday, I’ve liked what I’ve seen of Hector and I’d have Clare & Fraser as squad players. We need at least 10 first team players and we can’t be doing the bulk of our buying in League 2 again.
I have absolutely no expectation that we will have an owner that will understand or fund this.8 -

I could survive if them muppets were in league one with us but now have to put up with us getting a hard on cos we’ve got a derby with poxy Leyton orient next year , fuck off … we’re tinpot0 -

I really hope this result has put the final nail in the coffin for giving any of this lot, bar maybe Dobson and Leaburn, any sort of credence. The results say it all. For me, it’s not a viable argument that we just need 5 or 6 good players in6

Personally, I think he'd be far more likely to end up at the likes of MK, Bristol Rovers, Burton, etc.

But the way we are playing isn't doing anything to stop us losing money any player that does come good will have to be sold on to recover some off our debt
If they only gave their best it might just boost our gates at home as I hate to think what it's going to be like at the Valley if we lose to MK it's bad enough already0 -
Swisdom said:Just thought I’d point out we had Luongo on a plate and ready to sign for us but we took the piss on his wages.
he wanted something like £5k a week.
we offered £2k
his agent said £5k and he’s ready to sign
We offered £2.5k
ipswich offered £5k
he signed straight away.
cheers for that one Andy Scott
Do you know what budget he had? He can’t spend what he doesn’t have and surely it’s his job to negotiate?
If we gave Luongo 5k a week and he flopped you’d be moaning about him being profligate.1 -

Failing to see how this is Scott’s fault. Try Sandgaard if you want to vent
Doesn't seem very likely does it.Luongo, actually sounds exactly like the type of signing he wanted.
Think you’ve been told a whopper there.3 -

Absolutely appalled by that result. Feel sorry for the 1,000+ fans who travelled to Ipswich. Admire people like Fanny Fanackerpan, Airman etc who went to game. Think Holden and the players should have a whip round and give those fans a refund. Neighbour down the road and wife Ipswich fans they went to the game and got me a programme. Ashamed of CAFC at the moment, expect nothing on Tuesday, very depressing!1
