Have Stockport lost a lot of players this summer? They’re currently 19th in L2 after finishing 4th last season, one place off 3rd which would have meant two consecutive promotions.0

Is this what we have come too ? No disrespect to any of the teams or their fans but interviewing managers at Stockport & Northampton is not my idea of success.
SE7 Partners have been in charge for 6 weeks & things are starting to unravel already.
Utter shambles.
Fresh ideas, know the !ower leagues scouting for bargains and a defined system of play.
Far better than reverting back to Bowyer, Powell etc. Happy for Atherton too tbh0 -
Up and coming managers from L2 like Ben Garner went well #justsaying.
NB Brady is 48 & Challinor 47.3 -

Holden | Garner | Adkins... None of them have been able to select their own staff.

Who is leaking the message that managers in work like Ferguson, DC and Jon Brady are in the frame?
Presumably not coming from their clubs, who wouldn’t want to knowingly unsettle the manager.3 -

NabySarr said:If it is done and it’s Challinor I still think they should announce today and get him in the dugout on Saturday. It’s a free hit against a really poor side, if we don’t win then he hasn’t been there long enough, if we do win he’s off to a great start10

Will Challinor bring Will Collar with him, the midfielder who played very well against us last season in the cup !? Scored too0
-
Let's be honest there will be fault to be found with any appointment. Too dull, too inexperienced, wrong formation, been around too long, not been around long enough, has baggage...etc.
I think this is due to none of us being excited by a new manager coming in given the current state of the club and how the new owners have gone about business so far. It's not a situation we wanted to be in at this point in the season so our approach to it as a fan base is bound to be negative and we are going to question the decision regardless.
I think it's good that we appear to be casting the net wide and some of the names mentioned are at least prompting some thought and discussion.
I don't want Powell or Bowyer back - it's not a personal thing I just think they are worth more than walking into a mess and potentially failing. If I'm going to get frustrated and angry on a weekly basis I'd rather vent it towards a stranger than either of those two.4 -
Alfie mays shrunk another 2 inches??1

Nobody really knows if this will be a successful hire or not but other then CP, on paper Challinor seems the best from who we have been linked with.

Won't end well again with Challinor. Poor appointment.

well i've fully supported all previous appointments only to end up with the hump and wanting them to do one so this time round i'm going to start off disliking whoever the arsehole is in the hope of being won over8

"I was really impressed with The Valley when Stockport played here in the FA Cup last season, and the cauldron of noise from the packed West Stand lower tier"23

Questioning your own info and source.
Peak Ronnie.10 -
Wouldn’t mind Challinor. We can’t get much fucking worse than we are now, so he’ll probably be alright.5

Ronnie has unlocked the Green Tick skill. This bodes extremely well23
