This picture makes me think of the Ben Watson signing, unsure why
  • More buzz around transfers (especially in Jan) than for many a year.

By league one standards nobody can say they aren’t giving it a go.

If we don’t go on a proper run (even if we don’t go up) between now and May, Apples can’t waste next season. I suspect there are more incomings to come this month and summer and we can’t afford to waste it.

In regards to the transfer window feels like we are nearly half there now with the squad, and I’m living on a prayer that we will do much better next season.
    We are still miles off.
FFS this is the last time I make an awful reference type joke.
At least make the reference correct next time dude... half WAY there. Just saying.  ;)

4 in, none out. Who do we think they will be?
    Thomas, Fraser, McGrandles, L. Watson

So far so good on paper. Let’s see the net position in a few

McGrandles injured so no one will be interested. Watson apparently not according to Luton.

Fraser yes if wages don't scupper it, Thomas maybe but then we have no cover at LB at all except Gillesphey... which would leave us light at CB.

Anderson might get a loan move, plus probably one or both of Casey and Mbick if/when a striker is signed.

Average points required to finish 6th - 74. 44 points in 21 games, achievable? 🤔😉

    No.

    Stay up.

Keep on going big in the transfer market this summer, get a proper manager - no cocking around and get promoted with time to spare next season.

I’m sure we will loan out Anderson, Mbick, Casey and Rylah if we can. Or rather I think we should, would help their development better than staying with us. I’d add Kanu to that except we will definitely need him as back up unless we sign two forwards.

Cawley saying a striker is the next priority.

Hasn't been none out though - Tedic, Walker, technically Roddy too.

I'll admit they weren't big losses.

Striker, left back and if greedy a winger of similar quality and you'd have to say it looks a good window - time will tell of course

Abankwah too or has he not gone back yet?
  • Ness is the odd one out for me at the back... needs a loan.
  • Still want 2 strikers

May and a unready Kanu not enough

    I'm here!
    Two solid signings.
    Not busy, but promising
I echo I'd like Dobson to stay, CBT to stay or at least be replaced and a new striker ASAP

But these actions are much better than Rodwell's words on Wednesday !

2 today, you mean. We've signed 4 already, joint most in the league so far (one table we can say we top!)

I imagine another 3 is the maximum, a striker, a right winger and a left back preferably, but I can also see them trying to sign a number 10 if Fraser gets shipped out

Seen a tweet saying Anderson loan to Swindon but not sure how reliable the tweeter is

  • Interesting that this window all our signings have been announced on Fridays. So nobody for another week then!

No more signings please. Don't want to start building my hopes up.

Are they ready for men's football? 2 of them are 17. Would they be better off here?

when is an appropriate time to loan players out?

I don’t know why the likes of Lyle Taylor and JCH aren’t going to Saudi Arabia.  It’s clear they’re both of the opinion they want to make as much money as possible (as is their prerogative).  It would be a good move for both of them as it looks like money is the main motive at their stage of careers
The Saudis want big names, nobody outside of EFL fans have heard of either of them
