    The owners should surely realise now that if they are investing Appleton is not the man to trust with that investment- a change needs to happen swiftly or League Two beckons sooner rather than later.

    If (when) we lose today I think that gives Appleton five points out of the last 30.  We would also be in effect at least 18th (given Wycombe-Port Vale postponement) and Reading are better than their points-deducted position suggests. I have never really thought we would go down to League 2, even in the dark days of Duchatalet and Sandgaard. Now I really worry it is a real possibility.
