When a squad of players lack belief and self confidence as ours have done for a fair old time now, somebody with the Charisma of Michael Appleton really isn't the sort of person to bring it back.
Bad referring or does it only count when it goes against us ?
Thought the referee was pretty standard today, penalty at the start of the game was a 50/50. He didnt really have much else to do, no real other contentious decisions apart from perhaps that May challenge at the end.
